2011 Hyundai Santa Fe - The humble Hyundai Santa Fe
I have a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. This is overall a decent car in its class and price range. I've had it for approximately six years and have only had to have it serviced twice.
Story
As a New Orleans area musician, this car has been filled to the brim many, many times with guitars, amplifiers, drum kits, and whatever else we've needed to haul around. It's been sturdy enough to handle it.
Pros
This particular model came with Bluetooth, which was something I'd never had before. The car drives fairly smoothly. One thing I do like about it is the amount of storage. The trunk is spacious, and there's a little basement compartment about a foot deep for additional storage.
Cons
I only have two major complaints about this car. The first is the engine. It's four cylinders, and my previous car was a six-cylinder Ford Escape. The difference was staggering. I feel like I need to floor the accelerator pedal to come up to enough speed to merge onto the interstate. The other thing is that about two years after I got it, the starter went out. No warning whatsoever. And nobody at the dealership could seem to explain it to me.
