I currently own the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. Although it is an old car, it had held up extremely well over the years. At first I was not crazy about the exterior because it is bright red, but I have come to like the looks of it. As for the inside, it is outdated when it comes to technology, but everything else is great. It has a lot of room in the front seats as well as the back seats. In addition, there is a huge trunk area which can fit multiple large items. The car has ran great through hot summers and extremely cold and snowy winter.
Story
I have had this car since I was a senior in high school, so I would drive it to all of the football games at Notre Dame and pick up my friends on the way.
Pros
I like the size of the car. It is an SUV, but it is not huge. I wanted something with a lot of room, but I did not want a typical giant SUV. This is the perfect combination of small and large. I also like how smooth it drives. For an old car, it feels like new when I am driving it on the expressway. It has also half up through many long road trips.
Cons
Over the past few years, the air has not been working as well as it did before. Each summer I need to take it to the shop to have them do a quick fix. The inside does not have the best technology as well. I needed to buy my own aux cord so I could listen to my own music. Lastly, I have started having some issues with starting the car after I fill the tank with gas.

2008 Hyundai Santa Fe - Reliable, has good trunk space, good for travel

Hyundai Santa Fe is a good, reliable car. It doesn't get the best gas mileage as the car is a SUV. My car is a two-wheel drive, so it's not as good as an all-wheel drive. However, it still drives well during the winter (I live in Chicago, so we get awful weather on a frequent basis).
Story
I went on several camping trips, and I have shared some amazing memories with my friends.
Pros
It's reliable and has a lot of space for luggage. It's one of the best cars for traveling (camping).
Cons
This car eats up a lot of gas. It is definitely not the best car for commuting long distance everyday, which is what I'm doing right now. I probably put in gas about once or twice a week.
