2009 Hyundai Santa Fe - Not that great.
At first, it was a great vehicle. Then the problems started to creep in. Some of these problems I discovered were actually problems with Santa Fe's in general and notorious for going wrong and/or needing replacing. The fuel MPG wasn't that great either and also a thing with Santa Fe's. They just weren't designed for great fuel economy.
Story
Driving a few thousands miles in it and finding out it can't handle it from constant driving.
Pros
Great space. Has a lot of room, and you can fit a lot of stuff in there when the seats are down. Pretty comfy seats and not hard or anything. Decent dash. Good radio with good heating and A/C controls. Gas tank cap is on the left side. I think that's a plus since it's easier to drive into gas stations based on the way the entrances are here.
Cons
Purge valve goes bad. Often caused by overfilling, but really annoying to change. It's located in such a ridiculous place that the whole air line needs to be removed as well as the top of the engine, revealing the pistons and someone requires a small enough hand to get in there and switch it out. A mechanics nightmare. MPG is pretty bad, and the EFI doesn't work as well as other vehicles. Electricals are located in a bad wire harness/design that makes it difficult to diagnose and fix electricals when they go bad.
2015 Hyundai Santa Fe - Like the 3rd row.
I really enjoyed the power of this vehicle. I also liked the fact the vehicle has a 3rd row.
Story
I have only had the vehicle for a little over a month, but an looking forward to many great memories.
Pros
The interior of the SUV is very spacious. The speakers are powerful and the overall performance of the vehicle is above average.
Cons
I wish the vehicle came with a four wheel drive option. I would have also liked if the vehicle came with a towing option such as a trailer hitch.
