2003 Hyundai Santa Fe - Inefficient but spacious
The car is very spacious and comfortable. The worst quality of it is that it is very gas inefficient.
Story
Drove to Binghamton for 5 hours. Was a great trip back and forth.
Pros
The vehicle is spacious, comfortable, and looks good.
Cons
The vehicle is gas inefficient and there have been many problems such as the driver window breaking off.
2008 Hyundai Santa Fe - Vehicle is great in the snow and in the rain, that was the reason for the purchase. Car gets decent gas mileage and is fun to drive!
The Hyundai Santa Fe 2008 limited is a great car! The car is loads of fun to drive and has a lot of things to enjoy about it! The car comes to equip with a great sound system, navigation as well as other things. The car has a ton of horsepower if you ever want to crank the gas but also very calm when you are in traffic. A great feature about this car that goes unnoticed is the amount of cargo capacities. It includes generous under the floor storage. The interior of the car almost resembles a luxury car. The interior is nice and crafted through the plastic dash could use some revamping. The inability to play songs through an mp3 player is disheartening. No worries, the car has a CD player. Story
I have had a 9-hour road trip in the car to pick up my dog! The car was very fun to be in and comfortable to be for a long strenuous adventure through mountains!
Pros
The best pro for this car is the AWD. It works outstanding in the snow, being from a state that snows very much. It handles beautifully, something the most modern SUV's lack. The car is very quiet, the only thing that makes noise is the engine when using all that neat horsepower. The quality of the seats is very nice, almost seems as if you are in a car two times its price! The inside of the Santa Fe is large, you are able to carry multiple things in the cabin without any issues. The seats fold, which gives even more room for items. Cons
There is not a whole lot of bad about the car. Some thing that I would definitely change is the MPG in the city, higher quality of materials used in the dashboard. Another huge change would be adding an aux cable to the car, changing CD's is quite frustrating. The door liners are made of bad rubber that will eventually fall off, though can be easily fixed. Being a 2008 car I have no idea why blue tooth was never integrated into the car's design. A flaw on Hyundai's part, I guess. Power driver seats should come on this limited model as well as a backup camera.
