I bought this car because I live in a rural area and drive over an hour each way to provide healthcare services to community clinics. Because of this, I needed a reliable, dependable car. I have been so satisfied with the Hyundai Santa Fe. Not only is the ride incredibly smooth (which is so important when I'm driving over two hours each day), but I don't ever have to worry about if the car will start, and I'll be able to make it to appointments. I love the heated seats. They are such lifesaver in the winter months.
Story
Right after purchasing the car, I went to the grocery store, and upon leaving almost got into the wrong car! There were so many silver SUVs parked in the lot, that I tried to stash my groceries in the wrong car!
Pros
The optional all-wheel drive helps me navigate the occasional winter snow storm—not enough to prompt me to buy a four-wheel drive vehicle, but I like having the option for the one–two yearly snowstorms. The display system is minimalist and easy to navigate. Finally, there is plenty of room in the cargo area for whatever I need to haul.
Cons
I've had a few paint chips and areas of peeling, mainly on the front of the vehicle where rocks or other debris have hit the car. Also, there are some areas on the luggage rack where the silver paint is peeling. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it doesn't look very appealing. I have been able to touch up the spots with a paint pen purchased at a car parts store, and the finished result looks pretty good!

The service was outstanding and the employees were friendly and never pushy. The selection was great, as they had so many makes and models to compare. I was able to test drive and felt like I knew exactly what I was getting. I was glad that the price was final (ie no back-and-forth), and that they offered a great service warranty. Generally a wonderful, easy experience.
