2016 Hyundai Elantra - Great car.
It's a good car for commuting. It's easy to maintain and is very inexpensive per mile. It doesn't have a high barrier to ownership, and it turns very well. I absolutely love being able to turn so efficiently and quickly. No way I would ever give up this car for another, since it's such a great car in and of itself.
Story
The car is great for road trips and drives very smoothly. I took it to SF, Modesto, and A few hours north. It just is so much fun to drive anywhere.
Pros
The best things about this are the low cost of ownership, it's a low cost vehicle, I can drive anywhere knowing the car is reliable, and it gets amazing gas mileage. that is probably my favorite part. The most expensive part of owning the car for me is the car loan. Other than that it's so inexpensive I enjoy having it.
Cons
Not very many bad things. My wife hates that it doesn't have lights by the mirrors. I don't mind it myself. I don't see anything really wrong with the vehicle. I absolutely love it and would buy it again any day of the week.
2010 Hyundai Elantra - Great-looking and reliable car!
I had my Hyundai Elantra Limited Trim for about seven years, and I can say it's a pretty good car. I had purchased the new generation design when it first came out, so my car was definitely "flashy" when I drove off the lot.
Story
I would take this car everywhere when I first got it. It was awesome! To this day, the car looks awesome.
Pros
It has great MPG and feels sturdy and safe, compared to other economic cars I have driven before. It is backed with a 10-year powertrain warranty or 100k, whichever comes first. This can come in very handy if you do not drive a lot.
Cons
The con that I feel this car has is that it can get very noisy on the freeway, unless you have some sort of filter. It can also have some small issues here and there, but that's to be expected for a car that's more than five years old.
