2010 Hyundai Elantra - Fantastic first car!
The car overall is fantastic. It is a very nice-looking entry-level car, and I also feel very safe in it as well. It's quickly approaching nine years old, and I can happily put faith in the car 's build to not only get me from point A to point B, but to also safely get my family and I to any destination no matter how far and in between it may be. This car was my very first vehicle purchase, and I am still happy with the day to day usage of it. It's never let me down, and I can't wait to see how many more years it still drives on the highway in excellent shape.
Story
This car is the car I packed up my girlfriend's suitcase and mine in for a weekend getaway to the coast. That weekend is one I'll remember for the rest of my life because I asked her to marry me that trip. The eight-hour drive down to the vacation spot was fun, with us singing and talking. Pros
The car's smoothness in every setting is a huge plus for me. It is so easy to drive, that I believe any one would feel at ease behind the wheel. The build of the car is very nice as well. Everything down to the exterior to the seat to the dash, it looks very nice and clean and won't look "dated" for many more years to come. The seats are also very comfortable no matter where you are sitting in the vehicle. Cons
The car sometimes doesn't have enough room inside. If there's three adults in the backseat, they are practically all on top of each other. It is almost impossible for tall people to sit in the passenger seat without sliding the seat as far back as it goes.
2012 Hyundai Elantra - Would definitely recommend this car!
Overall, I am very pleased with this car. Just a quick breakdown: Road noise is loud but not bad (to me at least) I have gotten 28/38 MPG, after subtracting 2 from the reading it gives. I have changed my driving habits tremendously. Owners now receive an MPG reimbursement card. After 11,000 miles, I was given $46 and can continue to get reimbursed when I visit the dealership.
Pros
The Bluetooth works well on this car and easily connects. It is actually roomy for a compact sedan. The gas mileage is still great, even if it isn't as high as originally stated. The exterior is stylish, and the interior is comfortable. I also haven't had any issues with my car. All I've needed to do is have regular oil changes.
Cons
The road noise can be loud. I have also noticed that the radio can easily be heard from the outside. The most annoying thing, however, is that I have accidentally knocked the automatic shift over into manual mode.

This was my first time buying a new car. The car salesman took me through all of the steps/information I needed to make a decision. I was able to go in, test drive a car, and buy the car, same day. I also traded in my car. Everyone was friendly, as well.
