2015 Hyundai Elantra - Hyundai Elantra stands out.
This car is phenomenal. Although it is a relatively new car, for work, I drive a lot for work. This car really holds up mechanically. I've taken long road trips in this car, and I never once was worried about the car breaking down. Not to mention, the base model of this car is affordable, without sacrificing luxury!
Story
Nothing extremely memorable. I guess the closest thing is that it is still comfortable, even in a 27 hour roundtrip drive.
Pros
First and foremost, the base model price is excellent on this car, without sacrificing luxury. For any other brand, I would have had to spend ~8000 more in order to get the same features that this car offers. The backup camera is phenomenal, and has saved me from crashing into things more than once. Bluetooth allows me to get directions from my phone, play music, call friends and family, all hands free! The trim is sleek, and looks very fancy! The warranty is excellent, 10 years, 100,000 miles for powertrain. My car has close to 70,000 miles, and the only thing I ever needed to change were... (more)
Cons
I have noticed that although the exterior looks really nice, it is quite susceptible to damage. The paneling crumples at only the slightest tap against a curb. Hyundai was late to adopt Apple CarPlay, so I missed out on getting that. Otherwise, This car is excellent!
2006 Hyundai Elantra - Great dependable, comfortable, quiet car to drive
This car has worked out very well. I purchased it lightly used by a grandma with only 60,000 miles on it. It's approaching 90,000 miles and there have not been any real problems since I keep it well maintained. It is very quiet and dependable.
Story
It was great taking to the beach and easy to clean out the sand afterwards. My wife and children and all of our beach things were able to fit into it easily. It came onto the beach with us and will forever be remembered as part of that trip.
Pros
This vehicle gets great gas mileage.
It has nice cold air conditioning for the summer and good heat for the winter.
The factory sound system has been very ample and provides great sound.
There is lots of room for my whole family and great trunk room for a compact car.
Great interior that included factory floor mats that hook into place so they do not shuffle around.
Cons
Stock CD player stopped working.
Radio doesn't pick up all local stations.
