Hyundai Elantra Owner Ratings & Reviews

2017 Hyundai Elantra - Affordable, but bare-bone
It is a standard car with very little extras. It comes with Bluetooth, which is a plus, but aside from that, it doesn't have really much else internally. The sound system is lackluster, the seats are cloth, the interface is made of plastic and looks very cheap. Everything about the interior of the car is boring and lacks features. In terms of the driving experience, the handling is very good. Turning feels smooth and reliable, but accelerating is a bit of chore. It takes a little bit of time for me to accelerate at lights as opposed to my other cars. It has an eco mode, which is great, but it doesn't really end up saving me any money. Its MPG is remarkable, however. It gets around 35 MPG highway very reliably, and on long trips, I've averaged about 40 MPG on highway. In terms of reliab... (more)
Story
I've driven across the US in this car, from LA to Chicago. I never had to worry about anything, and it was a very smooth, relaxing ride. The cruise control was easy to use, and I had a good time driving across the country.
Pros
MPG is definitely the biggest thing for this car and the fact that it comes with Bluetooth. Some cars I've owned required that I pay extra for Bluetooth, but in this car, it's standard. It also has a great back-up camera and backup interface. But most important, the mileage and the money I save from this car is the biggest reason I'd recommend it.
Cons
It's not a pretty car, especially internally. It has a boring interior that has a cheap, plastic screen and surrounding module. All of its internal features are quite lackluster and ugly.
2016 Hyundai Elantra - Excellent Elantra
First off, I like the way the car looks. It's nice and compact and looks stylish. It has great gas mileage and shows you the current gas mileage on the dash board (between 35-42 mph). The car has 50,000 miles on it and still runs great. Recently got it checked out and the only thing that needed replacing was my tires. It has an aux cable so you can connect your smart phone and play music over the speakers. It sits five comfortably, and the trunk space is amazing for this size car. The truck can easily fit a person or two (not like my friends and I have tried it or anything). My biggest gripe, though, is that it has no back wipers. I keep a hand wiper that I use to clean any frost or dirt off in the mornings. I sometimes forget to do this, though, which makes it hard to see out the back... (more)
Story
I used to drive my housemates for late-night cake or ice-cream runs and each time one of my housemates would use her finger to draw pictures on her side of the front window. I kept those pictures there until my parents made me wash my car.
Pros
It shows me the gas mileage. This is very useful when the engine light goes on. I know approximately how many miles I have to get gas before I'm screwed. I'm also really happy with the aux cable and ability to connect my phone. I also like the great trunk space.
Cons
My biggest con is that there are no back wipers. It never seemed like a big deal until I had to scrape frost off the window at seven in the morning when it's freezing outside. In addition, there are no seat warmers or built-in GPS. It also has no sun roof.

Fresno, CA Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2014 Hyundai Elantra - Lithia Hyundai Of Fresno
It is one of, if not the only, Hyundai dealerships in Fresno that sells only Hyundai. Along Blackstone where this dealership is there is a lot of dealerships on both sides of the road. I went to multiple dealerships along that stretch of Blackstone and I ended up like and buying from this dealership.
2012 Hyundai Accent - Hyundai Tustin
I had not so great credit. I did not want my husband on my paperwork. They went above and beyond to help me out and get me the car I wanted.
