2015 Hyundai Elantra - Great on gas
The Hyundai 2015 Elantra is a good car. It has many features such as econo mode vs. Drivers mode. It has a backup camera which is very handy. And the gas mileage is great.
Story
The driver's mode makes me feel like a race car driver. The feel of the car is safe when driving in this mode.
Pros
The best feature for me is the gas mileage. I went from a min-van to the Elantra and cut my gas bill in half. The savings is quite wonderful. I also love the backup camera. I have never had one before in a vehicle and now would not go back to not having one.
Cons
I live in a hilly area in NY state and the car is not good in snow. I will probably have to invest in snow tires this season. I wish the back window had a windshield wiper. It's hard to see out of it when it's raining. The passenger seat feels very low.
2008 Hyundai Elantra - Reliable car.
The 2008 Hyundai Elantra is a reliable car with a strong V4 engine. It can safely handle street as well as highway road conditions. The drive is very smooth and enjoyable. There is plenty of storage space in the trunk. The transmission is about average in its performance and doesn't shift the easiest. It sometimes jumps when making a speed change. All in all the Hyundai is a great performing vehicle and continues to serve as a reliable dependent mode of transport.
Story
After putting snow tires on the Elantra, I drove around an empty parking lot trying to skid. It would not skid no matter how hard I tried.
Pros
The best aspect of the Elantra is it's dependability. It drives well in all seasons.
Cons
The transmission shifting can be rough at times.
