I have driven over 200,000 miles in this car in the seven years that I have owned it. This car has been an absolute dream to own; there have been no major mechanical issues, and I would happily purchase it again.
Story
Probably when I took my car on a seven hour trip to begin my honeymoon with my wife! Just awesome cruising down the highway on our way to the beach with my bride; a great memory!
Pros
The gas mileage: to this day I am still getting about 36 on the highway and 30 in the city. Low maintenance: I have had to do the usual work on this car (oil changes, tires, light bulbs, etc.). The only item that needed replacing was the starter, which that can be expected to go over time. Look: this car just looks sexy to me. Since day one when I see this car I just love the look of it.
Cons
Electrical: around 100,000 some of the electrical components started to go. For awhile I did not have cruise control because something with the wires gave out. Around 200,000 (where I am now) some of the lock buttons no longer work, and sometimes when I jiggle the light stick all of the LCD components light up. Other than that the major light components still work. Tires, but this is because they are low-profile tires. I think next time I would actively avoid a car that had these as they are thin and prone to getting stuck by a nail and need replacing. That's not really the car's fault though!

2013 Hyundai Elantra - I feel safe and satisfied with my car.

I really like the car, overall. I feel very safe in it, and seeing that I’ve been in three accidents without any injury, it speaks for itself. I dislike the fact that I got a two-door coupe opposed to the standard sedan. I drive a lot, so I am very impressed with how well it’s held up over the course of the term. I purchased it with just eleven miles in 2012, and it’s now 2017 and about to break 150,000 miles. It still runs perfectly.
Story
I have taken this car all around the United States with me. I love to travel and mostly by car. I have shared many amazing road trips with friends and loved ones throughout the years. Those are precious.
Pros
The safety reviews are phenomenal. I really like the heated leather seats, the sun roof, auto defrost windshield, and the push to start ignition. I’m only 26. I purchased the car when I was 21, so I really enjoy the modern look it gives.
Cons
I don’t care for the two-door model. I also don’t like that almost everyone on the road has this car now. Both my remote keys have died within four years, so my automatic locks no longer work. I have replaced the brake likes at least seven times since I purchased the car in late 2012. I have also changed the car battery and spark plugs once.
