2014 Hyundai Elantra - Reliable, compact, well-built car
I like that it is small and compact, drives very smoothly. I like the leather seats and the heated seat function. I have put almost 100,000 miles on the car and it has needed almost no repairs apart from a small sensor. It looks deceptively small, interior is actually quite roomy, especially in the trunk.

Driving through the country with the sun roof open and the kids putting their hands out to feel the wind.
Pros
The back-up camera is great for parallel parking, I like the ability to connect my phone through the Bluetooth so that I can listen to music and make phone calls handsfree, as well as being able to use google maps. Car gets great gas mileage and has a Eco-drive option which uses less gas.
Cons
There are no back windshield wipers, no adapter/usb plug-ins in backseat, no car lighter. The shape of the front windows does make seeing around corners, especially right corners, difficult.
2010 Hyundai Elantra - Nice
The Elantra has improved with each generation, and the newest model offers the best bang for the buck yet. The base engine is a 147-hp inline-four with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.

In short order, Hyundai has elevated the Elantra from rental-fleet staple to rising star in its class. Its attractive looks and plentiful options make it an affable, high-value choice. Its refined and fuel-efficient four-cylinder engines pair with either a manual or automatic transmission. An Eco model boasts more torque and a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
