I love this vehicle. I got it as as used car for my first car, and I wasn't too sure of it in the beginning. When I first got it, it had some problems with the AC and the air bags that we had to fix up, but once we fixed up those initial problems, we haven't had anything major happen since! It drives nicely, though it does seem like a loud car. It does very well on flat land, but out here at college in the mountains, it does use up a significant amount of gas. I get around 400 miles per tank, and it only costs about $25 to fill up completely with the lower gas prices that we're having. I dislike, also, that it's an older vehicle so there's no Bluetooth compatibility.
Story
Once I got locked out of my car at the park when I was 16 and it was getting dark, and the police were making their rounds to make sure everyone was out of the park, so when they saw me and my friend laying on top of the trunk/rear window, they thought we were hooligans and started to lecture us until they got a radio call to come check on two girls at the park...who were us...because my mom c... Pros
The best thing about this vehicle is that it's reliable. I'm pushing 205,000 miles on it and bought it used. Plus it's about 11 years old, and it's still going strong. It has a relatively smooth ride, and it does its job. It also has a ton of trunk space. I collected metal to sell on trash day for years in high school to make some extra bucks, and I could fit so much random stuff in that trunk thanks to the space!
Cons
The cons are mostly due to age and things that happened before I owned it. It has several mystery dents from the previous owner, including a hole in the bumper. The moon roof buttons don't work anymore, so I can't open the moon roof because it won't close. The passenger side door controls the locking mechanism in the car instead of the driver's side door (not sure why, it's always been like that). Sometimes, the car alarm goes off with no reason. Finally, the key fob is really shoddy. Also, I wish there were a better sound system with Bluetooth compatibility, and I wish the seats would be ... (more)

2001 Hyundai Elantra - Great, sturdy build. Interior looks has held up for over 10 years.

I love how well the vehicle drives. At just over 100k miles, of which about 30k have been driven by me, the car drives like it's brand new. There are no rattles that can be heard, and the build can handle a few bumps in the road. The interior is amazing. There are no tears in the cloth seats, which is amazing for how old the car is (14 years about). One thing that I do not like, but considering the age is understandable, is how badly the paint chips off. It's chipping off from the passenger side, the entire passenger side mirror had all paint chipped off before it was repainted, and the bumper has paint chipping off. The fold down seats are great and provide a good amount of extra space, but it is difficult (in my car, at least) to get the seats to fold down without feeling like I'm go... (more)
Story
The best time using my car was when me and a few other friends drove up to the mountains to go hiking. There was plenty of room in the car for us to be comfortable on a hot day.
Pros
The design and look is eye catching and cute. It runs GREAT on high mileage, and the interior really stays looking like brand new if you take care of it properly.
Cons
Maybe it's just my car, but the paint chipping is the worst possible thing. I like a crisp, overall clean look, and the random "bald" patches kills me. The fold down seats could also have a better mechanism for folding down that's more stable.

Their prices were very affordable. Their staff was friendly and willing to answer all the questions that I had about the car. The dealership was conveniently located and in Virginia where there was a lower tax than within dc. The car was exactly what I was looking for and was in a great conditioned for the amount of miles that it had.
