This vehicle has the best warranty of any new cars sold in the United States. It also has roadside assistance for 4 years. During the first 4 years, all I have had to do with this car is oil changes, tire rotation and some filter changes. It is a car that hasn't given me any trouble, even when the weather was 15 degrees below zero. The car started right up.
Story
My dog likes to go to the local park and one day jumped out of the window as we were pulling to a stop in the parking lot. He ran over to the fenced in area, jumped the fence, and started playing with the other dogs.
Pros
This car handles well and is zippy and responsive. It is easy to parallel park and not so big as to be difficult to maneuver. It does not have any big blind spots.
Cons
The battery recently failed and after 30,000 miles the factory tires are ready to be replaced. I do a lot of city driving and we have cold winters. Perhaps that is why the battery failed and the tires have worn down so quickly. However, these are the only issues I have had with the car.

Debuting a new generation for 2018, the Elantra GT is one handsome hatch, and its subtle details give it an attractive European style. A 161-hp 2.0-liter four pairs to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. Ride comfort is prioritized over corner-carving prowess and its hatchback body gives it 25 cubic feet of cargo space, 11 more than the Elantra sedan. An 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is standard. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and navigation are optional.
Story
From the tasteful, restrained styling to the mannered performance, the Elantra GT exudes a European flair. Testers found the handling to be precise and composed. The base version, shown here in black, will represent the bulk of sales volume, which is understandable given its price. But the car really shines in its Sport trim.
Pros
Handsome all over, capacious cargo storage, frugal highway fuel economy. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. Heated front seats with power driver’s seat. Passive entry with push-button start. Dual-zone automatic climate control.
Cons
Feeble acceleration, limited fun factor, missing popular features.
