2012 Hyundai Accent - Economic and cute
I own a 2012 Hyundai Accent stick shift five speed. The car is not a speed demon but is good on gas, maintenance and can squeeze in and out of traffic at a fair rate of ease. It's a bit slow on the start, but that's about all I don't like about this car.
Story
I'm in a group of large cars and trucks, and people are laughing at my peanut of a car. Well, I go around all of these large vehicles and make my destination while they sit in long lines of traffic.
Pros
My favorite parts of the car is the stick shift five speed. I love the handling of the car and the ease of traffic lane changes. I love the maintenance and the easy price at the gas pump.
Cons
I do not like that the car lags when I take off. It feels like I'm in a go kart as I take off. It takes too long to build up speed.
2015 Hyundai Accent - Ride with Accent
Tiny super comfort with loud interiors and feeble engines is the norm. Hyundai is trying to stand out in this class by giving this more redesigned Accent more passenger space and better fuel economy.
Story
Riding with friends to the mountains. It made for a very comfortable drive.
Pros
The Accent's cabin and user-friendly cockpits around front headroom is excellent, and the left footrest is nicely placed, but the hard plastic door armrest is an uncomfortable place to perch an elbow.
Cons
Too many engine problems due to cold weather.
