The Honda s2000 is a fantastic piece of engineering. It is definitely one of Honda's most attractive and timeless pieces produced to this date. The Honda s2000 is an economical roadster with a great four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive to boot. It provides the excitement thrill seekers crave as well as being a reliable weekend cruiser. Though in the same class as a Mazda Miata, it provides a much more refined and aggressive approach to its styling and performance.
Story
I remember going to the racetrack with my Honda s2000 and running 14.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. I was very happy because it was stock at the time.
Pros
Rear-wheel drive. 2.0 liter VTEC engine. Convertible top. Six-speed manual transmission. It has 240 horsepower stock, which is great. Honda reliability. Very modifiable.
Cons
The Honda s2000 could used a little more torque, but other than that, it is a great car.

The 2001 Honda S2000 is a very fun car to drive. All S2000's are stick shift so you get a real racing feel when driving. It has a 9K red line which is very rare. It is rear wheel drive for those of you who are interested in drifting. All S2000's are also convertible with a optional hard top which comes in handy during the winter months or whenever there is hail.
Pros
Some of the pros for this car are the handling. The car is very light so it handles turns beautifully. When you are on the highway and in 6th gear, the engine makes a noise that encourages you to step on the gas due to the V-Tec engine. It gets decent gas mileage. It comes with bright Xenon headlights that are the brightest of any car I have ever driven. It also comes with dual exhaust standard. Also its a very sporty looking car that catches the eye.
Cons
Some of the negatives of this car are since it comes with a soft top convertible, the interior can get quite loud due to wind when driving on the highway. Also since its a high performance car, all the parts are expensive. And the car needs premium fuel.
