I bought this car as a second owner, but it was in excellent condition. This car is more than what I expected it to be. It is still running very well and has had very limited issues despite its age. Highly recommended for families as it is very roomy and has responded well off road and on. The interior design and compartments provide ample storage and functionality.
Story
One boring summer day, I ended up taking my kids and four other kids we collected out to do "tourist" things in our town. We went to see waterfalls and get snow cones and stopped at the beach and took pictures at all these spots and scenic overlooks we usually just drive by everyday. Pros
Space. Eight adults fit very comfortably in here with still a good amount of storage space in the back. Lots of room for the family plus friends, plus gear and room to spare. Design. I particularly like the style of this model. Its body shape and alloy rim design create a style I really like.
Cons
There were issues with the key getting stuck in the ignition more than once. It wasn't a difficult fix, but both times required a locksmith to be located on a weekend, which was costly. It apparently is a common issue with this model.

Overall, considering the age of the vehicle and how it performed over the years, it is good car with no huge issues. Absolutely a good car for its time, if this car were to be compared to todays standards, it would not perform as well.
Pros
I liked the look and good build quality. I also liked the performance, it was sufficient for my needs. It can carry a good amount of cargo and people, and the seats are comfortable. The ride is good and the steering is light. The car still looks good 10 years later, the interior and the exterior both age well and is easy to maintain. Fuel economy isn't bad for its time and even compared to today's, vehicles.
Cons
Road noise is excessive. The front head restraints will not give good whiplash protection in a rear impact. 3rd row seat is cramped and the steering and handling of the vehicle is very typical of big SUVS. Not much fun to drive.
