2016 Honda HR-V -
I like that my HRV was affordable for someone on a minimum wage budget, and that it's cute to boot! The leather inside makes it feel like you get your money's worth, and the hands-free features are very useful. The average gas mileage is consistently good and the car even tells you what it is.
Story
This is the vehicle I adopted my first dog in. The backseats are roomy and comfortable enough that my new dog fell asleep right away on our ride home. It was a smooth ride on the highway and over back country roads and he slept the entire way -- perfectly comfortable and at home.
Pros
I really like the look of the vehicle. It's not a huge SUV but it has the features that I need and want. All-wheel drive is a very important pro to the HRV. There's no point owning any type of SUV if it's not all-wheel drive. I also love the sun roof and blue tooth features of the HRV.
Cons
The HRV has very little horsepower. When I try to go up steeply inclined roads, I'm left in the dust by almost every other car on the road (even minivans!). The navigation system can also be annoying. It doesn't let you input anything in while driving (not even by voice) and the procedure to change the volume is not intuitive at all.
