I thoroughly enjoy the Honda Fit. It is compact but still has space for a lot of stuff and the rear seats fold down almost completely flat. I purchased an already assembled gun cabinet and it was able to barely fit in this car. This hatchback has more legroom than my brother's Scion sedan. The CVT in this car is decent and while it does not offer exhilarating rides, it does save a lot of gas. In addition, just because it is a front wheel drive CVT gas saver does not mean it has to be slow. It has very decent acceleration and fun can still be had when you push it to the limit.
Story
To show how you can have fun in this car, I take this car up Chantry, which is a mountain road, all the time. I do not just do it for the sightseeing either. This car is genuinely fun to drive, although you still get the understeer from it being a front wheel drive car.
Pros
This car really shines in its cargo space. Honda really did put big space in a small package. You can fit almost anything in it. With its flat folding seats in a hatchback design, it becomes a light duty truck. This car gets around 32-35 MPG overall, which is really good. In addition, the power in this vehicle is far from small. Throw it in low gear and you can have some fun.
Cons
The exterior looks could use a little upgrade as it is far from the best looking car in the world. Also, the front wheel drive CVT configuration gets quite boring for car enthusiasts. This car has a large windshield that gets cracked easily.

2010 Honda Fit - A decent car for a high school or a college student.

I got a 2010 Fit when my Prius cost too much to repair to continue driving for a popular ridesharing service. I knew that I was going to take a hit in the MPG department, almost anything would be a downgrade on that. After about a month of driving the Fit, I wished that I had tried harder to convince my wife that we get another Prius. One thing that really annoys me that I didn't notice when I test drove it is the excessive window rattling. That is not a feature that you want to subject your customers.to. Driving this car gives me the general feeling of "economy car". Everything works, but the quality and comfort level is not on par with some similar vehicles in the same class. On the other hand, Many of my riders commented on how spacious the interior is compared to what you would e... (more)
Story
I got some key shots for my university-level photography final project behind the wheel of my Honda Fit, with the shutter wide open.
Pros
Back seats fold down and create a sizable storage area for its size. Features are moderately improved over previous model years according to some drivers.
Cons
Price is higher than comparable cars despite lower fuel efficiency than other cars in its class. Feels cheaply made. Relatively weak acceleration.

They gave me the price that was shown on truecar.com. At first they wanted to sell me the car for much more but I was able to convince them to give me the truecar.com price by printing out the price from the website.
