When I needed to purchase a car, the Fit was not my first choice. Honestly, I had to settle for the Fit because of my credit but I don't regret the decision. The Fit is a compact car with a lot of power. I mean, it's a Honda so of course it's going to ride smooth. The miles per gallon is amazing. I frequently drive 260 miles one way to visit family and I don't have to stop for gas. I am a mother of two little ones that ride in car seats. The car seats fit well in the back but it is a little crowded, especially the rear-facing seat. It forced me to put the front passenger seat in a 90 degree position in order for the baby seat to meet the required angle recommendations in the back. Makes it pretty uncomfortable to sit in the front. The "trunk" of the car is very roomy. I don't have any ... (more)
Story
When I bought my car, I started noticing more FIT's around the area. There are actually 2 just like mine in color within a few blocks of me. I guess that's what happens when you buy a particular type of car.
Pros
The MPG is great, whether in town or highway driving. It's small so it doesn't take long to cool/heat the car. Comfortable seats, lots of cup holders, and plenty of room in the double glove box. The back is roomy enough to carry luggage, groceries, or whatever you happen to have with you. Easy to park.
Cons
Car seats take up a lot of room in the back and sometimes force the seat in the front to be pushed up farther, especially when the car seat is rear facing. Not ideal for driving in an area with lots of potholes or bumpy roads.

2011 Honda Fit - Worth the money.

The 2011 Honda Fit sport has been an overall great car for me over the past several years. I've had mine since 2013, and it's still driving like new. Comfortable, classy looking, and smooth driving, this car is definitely worth every penny.
Story
My family and I used the vehicle to drive down to the park and watch the Solar Eclipse of 2017.
Pros
Comfortable interior with room for five. There are very innovative storage option, as the seats fold back to provide more room. Has a hatch for trailer needs and lots of leg room. Has a very nice dashboard with lots of indicators such as low tire pressure that appear when needed. If you have a child, there is a latch system for easy-install of car seats. The car drives very smoothly and has a nice acceleration. The overall design of the car is very appealing to the eye and has a great fuel economy.
Cons
If anything ever goes out on this vehicle, then DIY maintenance is very difficult to perform given it's a Honda make. You'll likely find yourself ending up at the dealership when something goes wrong, but fortunately for me in my five years of owning this vehicle, I haven't had anything go on me that required me to visit the dealer. The key locks on the tires are also very annoying if you ever lose the key that comes with the vehicle. Also, the sound system isn't the greatest. Overall, still a great car.
