I love the design of this car. It is very sporty but also doesn't break the bank on gas. The overall quality of the car is good. It is very tech friendly and offers a lot of futuristic features. My only con is it does not have a back seat. The pros outweigh the cons, and I will go in to as much detail as I can.
Story
I was sitting at a stop light and a Ferrari pulled up next to me. The driver was revving his engine. As soon as the light turned green, we both stepped on the gas, and I bet the car at take off. Of course, he was able to pass me later on because his car's speed could definitely top mine, but I beat him at take off.
Pros
It is a hybrid. The gas in the tank lasts forever. I love the overall design. Everywhere I go I get compliments on this vehicle. I also consider it a pro that I do not say many of these models on the road. I also love how the car will tell you how good your oil life is. I also love the quickness of the take off in this vehicle. I can always be the first to take of from the stoplight, no matter what vehicle is beside me. I love the sets that come in the vehicle, they look like racing seats but are very comfortable. This car may be small but I can fit more things inside it than a standard se... (more)
Cons
I do not have many negative things to say about the car, other than it does not have a backseat and is not very family friendly. Another con is that the door handles are cheaply made. The car isn't very old, and I already had to replace it. I am not sure if it is the design or just got a bad one? Another thing I have noticed is that sometimes the car will jerk and almost hesitate after the car has shifted, but I am thinking that this is just because of the electric parts to the vehicle?

The hybrid engine didnÕt have as much horsepower as the V-Tec gasoline engine in the old CR-X. This is disappointing. It's more of a daily commuter than a performance vehicle, which is not why most people would buy the CR-Z.
Pros
Fast. Good looking. Comfortable seat. Nice interior.
Cons
Too much of a daily commuter. Not great performance. Underpowered and suspension was a bit soft. I've always wished they would make a sports version of this car - Si, Type S, Type R, whatever. Make it comparable to a Fiesta ST and I'd buy another one in an instant.

I loved my car when I first bought it. The gas mileage was fantastic compared to other cars of the same size and power. It drove like a smaller car, which I liked. However, just a couple of years into my ownership my paint began to peel like crazy, no matter what I did. Apparently other Honda owners, of a variety of makes and models, were having similar problems. It really aggravated me that Honda did such a crappy job with their paint, especially when I had to pay to have the whole thing redone. As a whole, though, I like my car.
Story
A lot of great camping trips! I took my first solo ride up the grapevine here in CA to Kings Canyon national park and my car handled it great, even when the incline got pretty steep. It's a fun car to drive because it's so smooth and I was making better time than I do when I drive with my family pulling our big trailer, so I was able to stop at a couple of little road side places. It made it f... (more)
Pros
The gas mileage and overall comfort and spaciousness of the car were great. Even after working hard for me so long, I still get about 30 miles to the gallon highway. I love the handling and kinda old school style. It's really sturdy, even now almost 10 years later I drive it really often and it still feels like new. Other than a new paint job, I've had to put very little maintenance into it, which is great because I don't know anything about cars.
Cons
The paint job!!! It peeled off in huge flakes, until it looked like my car was diseased. I eventually had to pay just about a thousand dollars (with a discount!) To have the whole thing repainted. I estimated that it was worth it because my car still has a lot of life left in it though. The back seats are a little on the small side, but I don't have too many people ride in the back so it's not a huge issue.
