This is the third Honda Cr-V I've owned in the past fifteen years. Two were totaled in accidents, through no fault of my own, but I loved the experience of driving them so much, that I just keep getting them. As a larger man on a budget, the size is perfect for someone who finds compact uncomfortable, while providing great gas mileage and quality hardware, that is dependable, as long as you service it regularly. The spacier interior is also nice, both for no giving you a too crammed in feeling while your driving (especially on long road trips), as well as when you have to load a lot of things into the vehicle, say when your moving or helping friends move. Plus I occasionally help out a friend who builds sets for a theatre, and the Cr-V is perfect for quick trips to Home Depot to pick u... (more)
Story
In college, it was great for piling all my friends in and just driving around town, or around the beaches. You fit five or six people, and still be relatively comfortable. Plus, with the all-wheel drive, it can handle a lot of unexpected road conditions that might crop up while you're on an adventure!
Pros
The leg room is great. The All-Wheel drive is also really nice and handy for unexpected hills or steep streets when you find yourself in an unexpected area and you need a little boost. The fold down backseat is great for loading a lot of stuff, and I can usually fit any large items (furniture, building materials) I need in order to get through my busy and hectic life.
Cons
It is getting a bit old. It had about 90,000 miles on it when I bought it, and it's well over 250,000 now. So it needs more upkeep than when I first purchased it. But all that said, it still runs well, I just have to be a bit more diligent, which does add up in price and trips to the mechanic.

I love this car. It looks like the car a soccer mom would drive, but it has helped me move cross country multiple times. It is roomy and convertible enough that I can fit basically everything I own in it (and believe me, I have). I have driven countless miles in it now, and it has never broken down or needed serious maintenance. It has a great turn radius, brakes quickly, and is a smooth ride. This car gets me exactly where I need to go, every time. I would 100% recommend this car to anyone - it seriously goes the distance.
Story
My best friend and I used it to drive through Monument Valley. It was absolutely beautiful, but the road was terrible. There were giant pot holes, rocks sticking up, and last time I had been through there (in a different car), my parents has spring an oil leak. I was terrified driving there, but my car handled it like a champ and we had the most amazing time!
Pros
This car is super roomy and durable. It is has driven cross-country multiple times for me now, including taking some crazy back roads, and has never given me any problems. It has a great turn radius, excellent brake distance, and drives like a dream. It has a back up camera that helps me see even in the worst conditions (and in super crowded parking lots), without making annoying beeps. It tells me exactly what sort of maintenance it needs when it needs it, so I am never caught by surprise. The fuel economy is great for a car of this type!
Cons
My biggest issue with the car is the exterior. It looks like a soccer mom car, and is not very stylish. Additionally when the back seats fold down they are still not entirely flat, which has been a slight issue when trying to move certain items or if I wanted to camp in there.

Their service department is great, they transferred the service plan over from the previous owner to me, and as a result I have not yet paid for service for this car which I've had for 7 years. My mother and sister have both purchased cars there as well.
