2011 Honda CR-V - Excellent family car!
I love my Honda CRV. My 2011 model has over 80,000 miles, and we have never had to do anything to it other than regular oil changes and tire maintenance. This is the car my family drives everywhere and we always get comments on how great the car is! It drives great, it's very reliable, and we have had zero issues with the car at all. I love how family friendly and affordable this car is. It's great for families and car seats as well!
Story
One of my favorite memories is driving in this car and pulling over in a parking lot to see my toddler son dancing in his car seat! So cute!
Pros
My favorite features of this car is it's reliability, it's nice looks, and how great it is on gas mileage. It's a low cost car to own overall. Another great thing about this car is the space in the cargo area. There is plenty of room for strollers, groceries, etc. It's great for when vacations because there is ample space for luggage and gear. The interior is nice and spacious as well.
Cons
The one main negative about the CRV is that there are no air vents in the back seat. In the warm months, it can take awhile for the back seat to cool down. The main time this is a problem is when you have a rear facing car seat, it can really take some time for the child to be cooled down. The only other negative I can think of is that this car doesn't have a ton of "get up and go." That doesn't really bother me personally, but something to consider.
2007 Honda CR-V - My Review for The CRV
I purchased this vehicle a few years ago in 2011. At the time, I was looking for a mid sized SUV. I was looking for something that was not too compact but just the perfect size to be able to travel and carry along my camping equipment around. The interior is a wonderful black leather with a near-luxury style. The knobs and handles are trimmed off with a cool chrome style plastic finish. The dash and control centers look like a sophisticated Lexus or Lincoln vehicle. I like it because of this. when you are inside, the feeling is not that of a Honda. The feeling when you step into the car is that of a luxury vehicle. It truly is amazing how Honda can achieve this. The fuel economy was perfect; I was getting 30mpg in the hwy, 20-25 in the city. Story
going camping to some very beautiful locations and being able to store all of my gear in the very compact back
Pros
Excellent room. Great ventilation system; the A/C and heating really gets around in the car fast. Great radio and speaker system.
Cons
I would have to say that the blind spots are a bit more prevalent with the design.
