2000 Honda CR-V - Most versatile and reliable car!
I love my CR-V. It already had 115,000 miles on it when I bought it a few years ago, but it has run well and gotten me everywhere I needed to go. The only issues were a faulty engine sensor and the incorrect spark plugs, but these were mechanic/previous owner errors. For having a relatively small engine, the CR-V accelerates fairly well and quickly and runs smoothly. I also really like the all wheel drive feature for when I go to remote trailheads or go off road for rock collecting!
Story
A few weeks ago, I took my car to go explore in the Bohemia mining district in the southern Oregon Cascades. The road was hardly a road. It was extremely steep and full of holes and rocks, and I wasn't sure my car would make it. To my pleasant surprise, the CR-V did a great job and the all wheel drive kicked in just when I needed it.
Pros
One of my favorite things about my CR-V is how spacious and comfortable it is. The front seats are roomy and comfortable enough to sit in for long road trips. The back seats fold down nicely to accommodate a lot of things in the back of the car. For example, last year when I moved across town, I didn't have to rent a truck; I was able to fit everything in just a few trips in my car.
Cons
When driving on the highway, a decent amount of road noise gets in the CR-V making the driving experience a bit noisy. On top of that, my stereo is somewhat broken, so the volume doesn't get high enough to drown out the road noise. This is a pretty small downside though for an overall great car.
2000 Honda CR-V - reliable little truck
very comfortable. AWD works very well in the snow. Always starts when asked, maintenance is cheap and easy. Good MPG. and not a bad looking little truck either.

I just bought it!
Pros
reliable. This is easily number one. It is a Honda after all.
Comfortable. I am 6'7' and finding a smaller vehicle that I fit in can be tricky. This one works nicely.
Cheap to run. Good on gas and doesn't break down very often.
Cons
I wish the gauge cluster was more informative.
