The CRV is fully loaded with electronic goodies! I LOVE the extremely clear backup camera and the right lane camera! The automated tail-gate brings a smile to my face EVERY TIME I need to access the rear area of the vehicle! The automatic rear seat "collapser" makes utilizing all the space in the car SO easy! The nav system on the 2015 has been vastly improved over previous editions. (And yes, using previous editions has resulted in multiple near wrecks!) Thankfully, Honda is getting clued in and making improvements to its nav system. The interface between iPhone and car can still use some work, but it is vastly better than previous years. Story
When I drive this car, I often have to be prepared to have conversations in the parking lots of stores about its styling or the wheel covers. Sometimes I get asked about the color (Kona Coffee). Fortunately, these conversations have been in broad daylight and instigated by totally benign inquisitors!
Pros
The engine is Honda reliable. With modern technology, routine maintenance is only required every 5,000 miles instead of every 3,000. It is roomy without being lummox-y! Even the back seats are roomy enough to accommodate 1 kiddie seat and 2 booster seats. The cargo area is just the right size for in-town errands and hauling. Passengers enjoy the ability to adjust their airflow and temperature to their own preferences. The leather seats have convinced me that I will never own another vehicle without them! Cons
One negative thing I could see is that it would be wonderful if a left rearview camera were installed to assist with merging onto highways from entrance ramps. The console area is a bit small, but it serves to keep clutter to a minimum. The CRV is probably not enough to accommodate huge loads, but that's outside its scope! The price of this vehicle is comparable to its value! I could have spent many thousands of dollars less for my new car, but I would not have received Honda reliability, styling and all of the extra goodies that I know will keep me comfortable for the next 15 to 20 y... I really liked the sales agent we worked with. He was not your stereotypical used car salesman, although he wanted to get the sale he was fair and was interested in knowing what I wanted from my car.
