The car does what I need it to do. I have a lot of baseball equipment that I need to transport. The car has enough trunk space to fit it all. Also, the car gets good gas mileage. I have had minimal maintenance issues with the car. I previously owned a Nissan Murano. I am much more satisfied with the CRV than I was with the Murano. The Murano required lots of money in maintenance costs.
Story
My dog is able to get in and out of the car easily. This is good because he's an older dog. In my previous car, the dog would need to jump three feet in order to get in the car. This became harder and harder for him as he got older. The CRV is much easier for him, because he can just walk right into the back seat. We purchased our Honda CR-V Touring AWD as a certified pre-owned care from a nearby dealership. It looks great and has great storage capacity, and can carry our whole family (we have two kids) and all our luggage, and still have room for my guitar! Since we got it a year and a half ago, we have only had one problem with it: the battery died when we had driven it for a few weeks. Honda replaced it under our warranty without argument. It drives, steers and brakes well, and accelerates easily to highway speeds.
Story
I remember going home for Christmas two years ago, and worrying that there was no way we could fit all the gifts we had gotten into the car with all our luggage. We ended up putting a few items into the back seat area around to our kids. I was worried it would make them uncomfortable, but it became clear pretty quickly that they barely even noticed anything had changed.
Pros
The trim package was very nice and well cared for (given that this was a used car). There are heated leather seats, a backup camera, a popup sunroof, and tinted windows. I really like that that the back seats can fold forward and down to accommodate more cargo when necessary. It is quiet inside and the seating is comfortable.
Cons
The only negative thing I'd say about this car is that the hood release is really hard to find, even when you are looking right in its direction. I had to look in the owner's manual to find where to look, and even then I had to crawl down on the floor and look upward to see it clearly.
