2009 Honda Civic - Awesome car
My Honda Civic is very reliable. The only issues I have had with it was a bad starter and that happened after a hurricane. My biggest complaint is that you can feel the vibration in the front end because of the compact engine.
Story
The first time I drove my mom and nephew to see the ocean. They both were peering out the window trying to catch a glimpse, and finally as we drove down the ocean front road listening to the Beach Boys on the awesome car stereo, they got to see why I love the ocean so much.
Pros
Stereo, reliable, and not a gas guzzler.
Cons
Small, vibration in the front, air bag failed to go off in a bad wreck.
1998 Honda Civic - Reliability and budget-friendly maintenance
I bought this car in 2001, when it was three years old. I was beginning college and was planning on having it for at least ten years. As it turned out, I have kept it for thirteen, so far, and love its reliability and durability. I love road trips and camping, etc., and appreciate the casual practicality that the hatchback offers. I have put some money into it, but feel that it is a good investment, since I occasionally still have people trying to buy the car from me so they can modify it for racing. The car has been a great performer, and has gotten me safely all over the country, including over 10 moves, taking full advantage of the amazing cargo space the Honda Hatchback boasts! Story
During a move, from Chicago down to NC, where my family lives, I had put my roof rack on, with the zipper bag, with two large Rubbermaid containers inside, and, in addition, had tied my bike on top, and had an army duffel, and an ironing board strapped up there, too. Pros
One of my favorite features is the hatchback! I have moved about 11 times in my car, and love how much I can fit in the hatch, with the back seats put down. I have also purchased a generic roof rack with a zip bag, and can transport quite a bit that way. In a pinch, one can also put the back seat down and sleep in the back area, and, if you have some kind of cushioning, it is even comfortable. I love the look of the car, and the fact that it makes a statement in support of economy and green values, with its smaller size, lighter weight, and high mpg.
Cons
Early on, it would seem to get "stuck" in acceleration phase, and I even had to pull over on the high way and turn the car off to get it to go correctly. That was kind of scary and dangerous, but I was always able to manage it, and it went away eventually. I also wish it had come with a real spare tire, instead of the "donut" and a better jack, but that would have increased weight and reduced the available space in the back.

2003 Honda Civic - Stevenson Honda Of Wilmington
The customer service was absolute quality. The pricing of the vehicles was fair. The dealer was willing to come down on the price and negotiate something reasonable. Additionally, I had to bring my vehicle back in for a tune-up and even the price for that was not outrageous despite being the dealership from which I bought my vehicle.

The dealership was not pushy. They didn't rush us into making a decision. They also gave us a fair price for our trade in vehicle.
