2006 Honda Civic - The long-lasting Honda Civic
The Honda Civic isn't the most appealing car to look at, but it's quite the reliable vehicle. Since I have had the car, I have not experienced one issue with it - just simple maintenance such as changing the oil and the tires when needed. Of course, the car is not made for performance, but in my opinion, the reliability makes up for where it lacks in that respect. I've driven the car from New York to Nova Scotia, Canada, and didn't experience one single issue. Even when I have to perform maintenance on the vehicle, the cost is quite low.

A friend and I drove about 24 hours north to Nova Scotia, Canada. We are both from Long Island, New York.
Pros
The car is extremely reliable. From the time when I purchased until now, there have been no problems with the car. Even when maintenance is to be performed, the cost is quite low. This is due to the availability of the parts for the vehicle.
Cons
The car is not the most beautiful vehicle, nor does it perform well in terms of speed and acceleration. The car is quite slow and does not pick up speed well. The car is pretty 'bare bones'.
2012 Honda Civic - A great car.
This car has been everything I hoped it would be. It's fun to drive and I love how it looks. The mileage is insanely good. Put about 20,000 miles on it including a 600 mile r/t to Las Vegas. Everything about this car is effortless. I hope everyone at least test drives the Civic, as not only is its initial quality better than any other car in its class that I have driven, but Honda still has the best 10-year cost of ownership track record in the business. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle.
Story
Taking a road trip to Las Vegas with friends last summer was fun and memorable.
Pros
Excellent fuel economy and performance. Engine and transmission were rock solid and performed flawlessly. Roomy cabin with high-quality materials. Many standard advanced technology and safety features. Enough trunk space for my needs. Haven't had any major problems with the car. Stylish exterior.
Cons
Slow-responding adaptive cruise control system. Noisy in the cabin. Cabin is cold during the winter months. No insulation in the floor.
