Great gas mileage. I think the performance is awesome for a car in its class. It picks up nicely and feels like a drivers car. The interior is roomy, not at all cramped. I have put a lot of stuff in the car and was amazed at how well it fit. The back row of seats actually fold down and there is like a little door that opens from the inside of the trunk to the interior of the car. I have actually transported a 6' ladder by placing it into the trunk and through the opening, over the folded down seats, and in between the two front seats. It has a full compliment of air bags, plenty of head room, and the drivers seat is adjustable to go up or down. The cloth interior and carpeting is still holding up after 9 years with tears or signs of wear. The only con that I can really come up with wou... (more)
Story
I'm a cheapskate and really wanted to find a 6' wooden ladder at the lowest possible price. I finally found one at a second hand store and bought it without thinking how I would get it into the car. I went out into the parking lot and looked at the car doubtfully. After folding down the trunk door and back seats I was absolute thrilled that the ladder could fit in such a small car without a pr... (more)
Pros
I like the way the car drives. I was impressed and still am nine years later with the pick up. When I was shopping for a new car I test drove several other makes in the same class and with some of them I honestly felt like I was riding a lawn mower, very rough ride, engine bogged down and it just wouldn't get out or it's own way. However, when I test drove the Civic everything was different when it comes to that. The pick up was great, the engine did not bog down at all, but ran very smoothly. I felt like this was a drivers car and so I bought it.
Cons
The car doesn't seem to be too air tight when it comes to letting the cold in. If it is parked outside on a cold winter day the car is really cold inside and when you go to drive it the cold air rushes in. You will definitely be cold until the heat can catch up with warming the air inside the car enough to over come the cold. I've never experienced this with any of the cars that I had previously owned. My first winter with this car having been parked outside I actually bought a heater that you would plug into the dash to give an initial blast of heat just to take the edge off of the cold. ... This car works quite well, and I've never had any serious issues with it in the last few years that I have owned it. Overall it gets me from place to place without breaking down. The blue color fits my aesthetic well and it is good for a daily driver. I would recommend it for the price I purchased it at.
Story
One night I was driving to work in the morning and after opening my window it suddenly would not close. When I left work it was still open and as I was driving it began pouring. Unable to close the window, I was driving like a madman down the highway in a literal thunderstorm while getting pelted with rain and ended up soaking wet. The funniest part of this whole story, when I got home the rai... (more)
Pros
This car is great on gas mileage. I am able to get almost a full tank for $20, which lasts me about a week when it comes to my driving to work, the store, and out for leisure activities. The ac works great and blows cold, and I also like the digital speedometer display that it comes standard with.
Cons
The vehicle does have some issues that have begun to pop up in the last few months. The rubber trim that surrounds and holds the windows in place has begun to come out, and I believe the adhesive has been affected by the heat and direct beating of sunlight down on it. Also, in recent months, something has begun to make a rattling sound in the front part of the car, somewhere under the hood. I hope that it isn't the engine knocking, but for all I know it may be. Also, when turning, there is a creaking sound that comes from the wheel well, and it almost sounds as if something is in the way a... (more)

Friendly, prompt service--our family has bought pretty much every car we've ever owned from Middletown Honda (despite living far away). I was given a pretty good deal on my latest car, and the dealership has been very kind to me in the years since when it comes to maintenance and questions.

Originally shopped there with my parents and they were very friendly and helpful. I was provided with a lot of information on my options and financing was easy. The location was ideal because it was close to home. They had a great selection of vehicles to test drive and see. In general it was a good experience and was pressure free.
