This car was extremely reliable. I took it on long commutes and road trips without ever having to worry about breaking down. Has remarkable gas mileage and a good sound system to make those road trips even better. The interior has all the features I needed, and all were easy to use and find. I live in an area with extremely hot summers, and I could always rely on this ride to pump out cold air when I needed it. The car responds well to the gas pedal and steering wheel without being too sensitive either. I had the two-door coupe, so of course, the back seat was a bit smaller, but my passengers never complained. Good amount of trunk space for a vehicle of this size too. All these perks aside, the biggest reason for recommending this car is that it probably saved my life. I had stopped fo... (more)
Story
Took many road trips in mountainous areas. The car has big windows for its size, so viewing beautiful surroundings as you drive by are a big plus.
Pros
Sturdy, well-made, reliable, gas efficient, comfortable interior, and attractive.
Cons
Small-ish back seat area and difficult to get dog hair out of cloth seats.

This car is a real commuter workhorse. I have had the car for several years and have not had any major mechanical issues. The car is not cool at all, and the paint has started to peel, but I can live with it. It gets great gas mileage and is cheap to repair. The car is loud on the road and freeways so it is sometimes hard to have a phone call or listen to books on tape while commuting. I am not afraid of having the car stolen. I will often leave it overnight in my city's park and ride. Other cars have had parts stolen, etc. but mine is never touched. Same with parking downtown, the car is so common looking, I think it gets overlooked.
Story
Spun out in the rain twice, tire place said it was bad tires.
Pros
I really like the gas mileage and the dependability of the car. The car is also very affordable in the sense that the repairs for brakes, batteries, and maintenance have also been cheap compared to my other vehicles.
Cons
The car does not have much cool factor. Also, my trim model does not have any power windows or locks. Also, the loud noise and suspension does not make for long luxurious cross country trips. Also, the car does not have much storage for any accessories or cups or electronic devices. This car is very utilitarian. Also, the car is not the best in handling in bad weather.

Seems like salesmen at most dealerships read the same training manual. It must work, revenue-wise. But from the customer's point of view, it can be frustrating. During my experience, there was a lot of , "Let me run this by my manager. " Then long waits while the salesman and manager confer. This Kabuki dance goes on indeterminably, until the customer is either worn down or finagled into buying a different car. With persistence, sometimes you can actually get a good deal.
