2001 Honda Civic - Like the gas mileage and it drives pretty easy.
I just got the vehicle a couple weeks ago after hydroplaning in my old Honda Accord and hitting guardrail. Since it would have cost more money to fix it up then actually getting a new car it just made sense to make the decision. It's a used vehicle and has about 60,000 miles on it which I thought was pretty good for a used car. We put snow tires on it since I moved up to Reno, NV and might have to be in the elements. It would have been nice to get a car with 4-wheel drive but I think that it will end up working out fine. The inside of it is in pretty good condition, no real stains or tears which is good so the car should last for a long time as long as I take care of it. Unfortunately I don't have a car port to park it under so it is definitely going to take a beating during the winter... (more)
Story
Since I haven't had the car for too long I really don't have any fun stories to share. In fact, it is still in my hometown with my parents since I had to get back up here before we were able to get license plates on it.
Pros
My favorite things about the car has to start with the gas mileage. Considering that I am currently on a pretty tight budget, having a car that can travel a ways without me having to fill up on gas is going to be huge. I do walk to work so that will just be an additional expense that I won't have to pay for very often. Secondly, I would have to say that the size of the car is a positive for me. Driving in a smaller car can be scary for some people but it is so much easier to park and smaller cars typically have a better turning radius so overall driving will be much easier. It has a couple... (more)
Cons
My number one negative thing about the car would have to be that it is not 4-wheel drive. I know that it was my decision when it came to choosing a car but since I was in a bit of a rush, I couldn't be super picky when I finally found a good deal. Having 4-wheel drive in an area where there is snow is vital and not having it means I might not be driving very much during the winter. Secondly, it is a bit of a pain that the back speakers in the car don't work. Like I said it doesn't bother me too much as I don't blast music, but it is a bit inconvenient when I have passengers in the car. Whe... (more)
2001 Honda Civic -
My car is getting pretty old so I'm starting to not like it anymore and I want something new.
Story
This was my very first car so I have a lot of memories from when I was a teenager like driving to school and going places with friends.
Pros
This car is very good on gas, and was pretty cheap to buy.
Cons
This car doesn't have very much power and is hard to accelerate. The A/C also doesn't work very well anymore. It's also not good in the snow.

2003 Honda Civic - Budget Motors Reno
Staff was very helpful and I did not feel pressured at all. They offered me a fair price and let me test drive the car. The car was used but in good condition, clean and full of gas when I purchased it.

They were really quick at getting everything ready and super polite.
