2005 Honda Civic -
The car has fantastic gas mileage which is a plus since I need to make a drive of about 6 hours every few weeks. There's lots of room in the driver's seat which I've often had trouble with due to my height, and I've had no problems with space in this car. So far, the only major problem I've had is that the car pulls to the right when driving even after taking it to a mechanic to have it looked at.
Story
I like to drive around sometimes and occasionally when I get on the highway I'll gun it to get to top speed. It's usually underwhelming as this car doesn't have much in the way of acceleration, so I'll wind up only saving a couple of seconds.
Pros
I like the leg room, the gas mileage, and the comfort. The car feels like a second home to me and I'm very satisfied with it. There's plenty of trunk space for moving things between apartments, which I've had to do many times.
Cons
My biggest issue is the lack of audio options. I'm a big listener of music and the only stock option included is a simple CD player. There's no port for an AUX cable or a cassette deck for an MP3 adapter. The only solution I've found is to use an FM transmitter, which has worked decently well. There is also the issue of the engine starting to make a loud buzzing noise at higher speeds, although I'm unsure if this could be solved easily or not.
2016 Honda Civic - Honda Civic dream
I absolutely love this car for many reasons. First, I love the style and color of the Aegean Blue hatchback model. The interior is very polished and looks high quality. The Android Auto system makes it super easy to connect my phone and get customized music and navigation. The back-up camera makes it so easy to park and reverse in virtually any situation. The turbo trim gives the car just the right amount of pep. This car is perfect for someone who needs space and a well-sized trunk but is not quite at the stage of their life where they need to cart a family around. Not to mention, the Civic hatchback is priced extremely well compared to the other compact hatches in its class.
Story
Very soon after getting the car, I took a road trip in it with my significant other. We had an amazing time driving through the Smoky Mountains. It was a great way to see what my car could do.
Pros
Turbo engine. Eight-speaker sound system. Android Auto feature. High quality interior. Back-up and side cameras. Black gloss trim. Moon roof. Remote start. Easy-to-use, colorful touchscreen.
Walk-away auto locking system.
Cons
Cargo cover is poorly designed, which makes it difficult to pack many things in the trunk. Paint on the outside is easily scratched by ice scrapers in the winter. Placement of the brake hold makes it very easy to accidentally turn on while driving.
