Today I am reviewing my purchase of my 1999 Honda Civic DX. Wow! What a reliable car that is great on gas! It may look like a small vehicle but man, can this car pack a lot. I mean, the stroller, 3 suitcases, a pack n play and play mat for our daughter. Picture that, that sure is a lot of stuff and all of that is in the trunk! Even being a vehicle that is ten plus years old, it can travel to far distances with no worries. Wonderful family car!
Story
Last May we packed the car for a 4 days weekend in Maine. This was our first long distance trip in the vehicle, but man was it wonderful. The ride was so peaceful our daughter didn't make a single uncomfortable whine. While driving up, the view from the front seats were beautiful, you could see everything. Pros
Some of the best features on this car, is the cost of gas, cheap! We use this car for a lot of traveling due to being a comfortable ride that is also quiet and smooth. Our daughter can sleep soundless in the vehicle, which is wonderful it doesn't mess up her sleep schedule. Not only is the gas cheap, repairs to this vehicle is little to none and when actually needing a repair ( because lets be real all cars need some type of repairs sooner or later ) the cost is so darn cheap ! I mean cheap as in as thin as my pockets always are.
Cons
One thing I would change or update in the vehicle if possible is the cup holders! They unfortunately are not secure enough, I am always losing my coffee on turns! My last con to this vehicle is if you have a large family, the back seats do not have much leg room which can cause it to be tight if more then one person is sitting back there.

The car is priced fairly. It has the reliability factor that is expected from Honda. It's fuel economy is pretty good. I cannot fit lumber for my home improvement projects in it too easily. The interior is a bit bring, but nothing terrible. The car is too low to the ground to get it on ramps if you want to change the oil yourself, it is a bit of a project. It is reasonably comfortable on long trips. I appreciate the features like the on steering wheel radio controls.

Nothing particularly memorable or fun to say about it.
Pros
My favorite feature is the great fuel economy. The price tag is pretty attractive. It is a decent looking car.
Cons
There are two many similar looking cars in parking lots. It is very time consuming to do oil changes since it is so low to the grown. There is also a cover plate to remove. None of these are going to be issue for most people. The back seat does not fold down completely. It has a frame the prevents you from putting very large objects in the back.
