When my old (and I mean OLD) car finally broke down a few years ago, I was heartbroken. However, after talking a few people about where to go from there, I decided to head over to my local Honda dealership and see what they had to offer. I instantly fell in love with this black (I'd always wanted a black car) 2012 Honda Civic. It was perfect for me. It was comfortable, spacious, and had pretty much everything I could want. I signed the paperwork immediately. That was four years ago. I've driven this car all over the East Coast and have never had a problem with it. It's a smooth ride and the fuel efficiency is great. Story
My first time driving over the Chesapeake Bridge and Tunnel. I've been over that bridge many times, but never as a driver. We got there right before sunset and drove over it with the windows down and the breeze hitting us.
Pros
Great fuel efficiency, comfortable seating, spacious trunk, nice dashboard and HUD.
Cons
Lacks some more modern features like Bluetooth capability. USB connection only works for iTunes, not Spotify or Pandora.

If you are like me and do not take good care of cars, this car is for you! I have missed oil changes, refused services and in general beat the car up, but it would never quit! I took long road trips in it when it had 100k miles, and I still would drive it for hours with no issues! It handled perfectly, was excellent on gas and was all around such an exceptional car for the price!
Story
Many frequent long-distance road trips in this car with friends made so many great memories.
Pros
The car was extremely resilient and easy to care for. It could go without routine maintenance and not have any issues. The gas mileage was exceptional. For example, driving NY to FL only took two stops for gas. The sound from the speakers was excellent even with music blasting. The speaker quality never diminished. The car handles exceptionally well at high speeds to the point where it drove just as well at 90 as 55.
Cons
It is not easy to do maintenance on the car yourself. The parts under the hood were tight and jobs such as brakes required special tools the average person might not have in their garage. The hood latch broke easily and could not easily be fixed therefore some parts feel cheap. Constant recalls made owning the vehicle a hassle by having to make frequent appointments for service. The car did not have many safety features and did not feel like it'll hold up well in an accident.
