2006 Honda Civic - Middle of the road in quality and price
Overall, its just a generic half plastic half shoddy-aluminum modern sedan. It has held together fairly well, but the plastic bits are breaking and the electronics are suspect. It was cheap, and was likely a good value still.
Story
It's not a fun car, its functional. It will handle groceries and short road trips just fine, and that's what I use it for.
Pros
Sips gas. Surprisingly roomy interior. Enough power to get up to speed quickly.
Cons
Digital odometer has a oil life countdown that is dependent upon the miles driven, not the actual life of the oil. Ignoring the oil life countdown for more than 100 miles beyond 0 (the computer system demands fresh oil every 1000 miles, a ridiculous amount), even if the oil is still clean and at a good level, causes a systems error in the dash, bricking the radio, that can not be fixed at home. The bumper is plastic, and has begun to degrade, on top of being useless as a bumper. 1995 Honda Civic - Dream car
When me and my boyfriend first saw this car parked near our neighborhood we thought "oh what a dream car!" We were newly in the market to buy a car so we were looking around. It turns out the price was right when we talked to the seller and so we took it for a test drive and it was heaven on wheels! So cute, so sporty, so fun to drive & SO reliable!! When we got it home a few days later we both were so amazed that we got to drive such a beauty every day!
Story
One time we pulled into the parking lot with plenty other cars around but there was this one space open and it was right next to a beautiful black Honda civic. So of course, I parked next to it! When we came out of the car there was a little note on the windscreen that said "sweet car!" With a smiley face next to it.

2006 Honda Civic - Kendall Honda Eugene
The staff at Kendall Honda were incredibly friendly and supportive. They were very sympathetic to my financial situation and made every effort to find a car that was a perfect fit for me. They have great cars and their prices are quite reasonable, but what really made this dealership stand out to me was the caring nature of the staff.
