Honda Civic Owner Ratings & Reviews

2011 Honda Civic -
I like the price point of the vehicle and the fact that it isn't ugly. I love the fuel efficiency and low price of parts and maintenance. My model is classically designed, in my opinion, with no weird angles. I dislike the lack of features in the base model. I dislike the interior fabric of the seats. It's very difficult to clean and easy to get dirty.
Story
That one time my car randomly cut off during winter, and the key immobilizer light came on. To this day, no one knows what happened, so that's kind of odd.
Pros
I love the reliability. Again, it's not ugly. The fact that I have aux input is nice. It's a four cylinder, but it has great "get up and go." I like the feature for the music volume to increase the faster that you drive (helps with interstate driving). The compact size is nice and makes parking easy. The trunk is extremely roomy. The time is easy to set.
Cons
I wish I had a multiple CD changer and USB charger. For this year, it should have also came with Bluetooth technology. I dislike how easily the wheel covers scuff. The weather-stripping comes off too soon, in my opinion. I had to replace the weather-stripping around 55,000 miles in. I wish the back seats had storage in them. I'd like for the middle seat in the back to have folded out into a cup holder. There's a triangular part of the windshield that is kind of weird to look through; it's almost like a blind spot.
2009 Honda Civic - Dependable
I purchased this vehicle when my husband and I were expecting our first child, and we needed to upgrade my little 2-door coupe into something more family friendly. It has proven to be an excellent family car. It is dependable and easy to maintain, has plenty of room, and is still small and easy to maneuver and park on city streets. It has given me no mechanical problems at all- I think I've only replaced a tire and the windshield wipers, along with regular maintenance. Plus, it is cute and has a simple, sleek shape. I plan to keep this car for a long time, and consider purchasing a new one when the time comes.
Pros
The car has good gas mileage and is easy to maintain. It is very dependable, and has never given me any mechanical problems. There is plenty of room inside for two car seats, along with a good amount of trunk storage. It handles well and I feel safe driving my family in it. It is comfortable for long distances, even for toddlers! The car is still small enough to park easily in small spaces and maneuver in tight areas. It is economical, dependable, and a good solid car.
Cons
I wish it came in more color options. Some sections of the interior are hard to clean, especially the center console. Acoustically, it is sometimes difficult to hear my children talking from the back seat, even when traveling at low speeds in a quiet environment.

Charleston, SC Dealer Ratings & Reviews
Write a Review
1995 Honda Civic - Hoover Mitsubishi Charleston
This dealership is the best no-hands-down because they're passionate about the job. At most dealerships, you'll find a bland salesman who just wants to get you to buy something, but the staff at this dealership will actually explain about the car/truck/van and they genuinely do it with a customer service attitude. They're professional, no doubt about it, but they aren't so professional that you're talking to a robot; They understand the customer and what we want. Although I ended up leaving without purchasing a vehicle from here (I bought from a private seller instead), I would gladly return due to my past experience with them.
2011 Honda Civic - Hendrick Honda Of Charleston
My husband and I were hesitant with getting a new car and being pushed into a deal. We had backed out previously because we felt we were having too much pressure put on us. We did not feel this way at all at Hendrick Honda of Charleston. They were so nice and helpful!
2014 Honda Civic - Hendrick Honda Of Charleston
They treated me great with suburb customer service. I would definitely buy from them again.
