2016 Honda Civic - One of the only sports cars meant to last.
I own a 2016, Honda Civic, which has approximately 7100 miles on it. In the past I have driven a Prius V, 2010 Ford Mustang, and now a 2016 Honda Civic, overall I would rate the civic the highest, due to the fact it has had the least amount of problems in my experience. It has great performance, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great starter vehicle or for parents looking for a durable, safe vehicle for their teens. I the vehicle is compact and has lots of storage which is a benefit in my book. The vehicle may have poor gas millage but that is counteracted when looking at how reliable and trustworthy the vehicle itself is. It's comparative quality towards other vehicles I have encountered is outstanding, it is by far the best in my opinion. I am also pleased with its perfor... (more)

I am also pleased with its performance while driving, it is a smooth ride, so you do not feel every bump in the road, which helps if you have back problems. It is a good car for the aging population, because it is not too low or high in comparison to the ground, so that if you have bad knees or hips getting in the vehicle is not a struggle. Overall the pros greatly out weight the cons towards this vehicle.
The most memorable story associated with my vehicle is when me and my mom took a road trip up to Florida from Texas, right before I moved there for college. I guess that is the most memorable since that was when I left home permanently, the drastic change is what made the journey memorable. It was the last family moment we had in over a year. I guess that is the most memorable since that was when I left home permanently, the drastic change is what made the journey memorable. It was the last family moment we had in over a year. It is a memory I will never forget, my mom was also the one that gave me the vehicle, so I guess in some respects I am more biased towards my car.
The pros for this vehicle do out weight the cons, greatly. The main benefit towards owning this vehicle is that it has a five star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, for injury protection. So this is a great vehicle for those that care more about safety, than any other feature. The car is also durable and reliable, in the last few years, I have only had to go in to change the oil or do an RBM for my tires, there has been no wear and tear issues with this vehicle, it is built to last. With my previous vehicles, the Prius V at least once every 2-3 months, the und... (more)

With my previous vehicles, the Prius V at least once every 2-3 months, the undercarriage needed to be fixed, and with the Mustang you couldn't go even a month without having to replace something in that car. With the car being a civic sedan, it works well for people with knee, back, or hip problems. The car itself is not to low or high in relevance to the ground, making it easily accessible for your parents, friends, or grandparents with on of those problems. The car's ride is smooth, so you do not feel every bump on the road, so if someone has herniated disks, or spinal stenosis, being in the vehicle will not cause them excessive pain. I also prefer the performance of the brakes, because they are not overly sensitive, which makes controlling the vehicle easier.
The tops negative factors towards this vehicle would be gas millage, its turn signals, and the lag when you press the gas peddle. For work and school, I generally commute about 100-150 miles, weekly, This total commute is equivalent to two tanks of gas or 11-15 mpg. So the vehicle goes through gas continuously and is not recommended for anyone on a budget, and their econ mode to save gas actually consumes more gas. I think eventually they will have to revise the function and figure out why is burns through so much fossil fuels, in order to improve the quality of their vehicle. The second m... (more)

I think eventually they will have to revise the function and figure out why is burns through so much fossil fuels, in order to improve the quality of their vehicle. The second main con towards the civic, is the fact that the turn signals constantly act up. There will be times when they do not turn off after you change lanes or make your turn, and it does not matter what you do, they usually stay on. Causing you to have to find somewhere to park so you can fix the issue. The last issue would be the lag when you press the gas peddle, it is more if the vehicle itself hesitating when you press the acceleration. This can take anywhere from 5-20 seconds to get the car going or to increase your speed. This does get in the way if the speed increases from 30 to 50, or your at a red light. Overall this issue could be overlooked but it increases your chances if being rear ended, especially if the other car is not paying attention, and for safety purposes it should be corrected. Those are the main concerns with the vehicle in my experience.
2016 Honda Civic - A review of a great car called the Honda Civic
Ever since I was 18, I had driven only Honda Civics. I have driven no other cars, just Honda Civics. Why you might ask? Well, Honda Civics are extremely reliable and durable vehicles that can definitely go the extra mile. Civics are definitely not vehicles that will quickly break down on you. I have driven a 2003 Honda Civic, a 2006 Honda Civic and a 2016 Honda Civic, and let me tell you, the result has been the same. Honda Civics are great driving vehicles that can take you almost anywhere safely. I don't have to worry too much about the Civic breaking down as it has a good endurance record. Sure, the Civic is not indestructible, but it lasts a lot longer than other cars. Some cars have cheap details and features to them, but the Civic is not one that is cheaply made. If this was trul... Sure, the Civic is not indestructible, but it lasts a lot longer than other cars. Some cars have cheap details and features to them, but the Civic is not one that is cheaply made. If this was truly a cheap car, then it break down a lot sooner but the Civic does not. Civics are often regarded as one of the most reliable cars to drive out there and that's so true after driving Civics for twelve plus years now. I am not even sure I can switch to another car after all the good times I've had with the Honda Civic. I mean why have a downgrade? Civics are pretty good with fuel economy as well as they are definitely not gas guzzlers. Civics are last a good distance before needing another fuel up. In this era of high gas prices, the last thing one wants is a total gas guzzler. Along with it's reliable nature, Civics also have a good speed to them and definitely are not a slow car. With power and reliability, how can you go wrong with a Honda Civic?
Well, one fun story with this vehicle is that I got my first kiss from my girlfriend in this car. It was about two years ago, and it was our second date. We were feeling each other pretty well, and we just had our first passionate kiss in this car. It's something that I really hold onto because it was the start of a great relationship. I will always remember my car for that.

The top positive things about this vehicle is their reliable nature. I like how it doesn't break down easily and how it can last pretty well in almost any weather condition. If you are a looking for a safe ride home, then the Civic is perfect for you. I also like how it doesn't take up too much gas. I like how it's low maintenance for the most part. The most positive pro about this car is the high endurance overall. When you are getting a car, you definitely want one with high endurance. You don't want to be constantly on the worry on whether or not your car is going to break down.

Well, I feel like their trunks are not wide enough. Their trunks have some space, but I feel like the Civic does not have enough trunk space. A wider trunk would be a definite plus. Another con of the Civic is I feel like the cup holders can be a bit bigger. I don't feel like the cup holders are big enough. Some more space could be used in there to accommodate bigger drinks.
