Overall, I'm a big fan of my car and I generally go out of my way to talk it up whenever I know people are looking for a new vehicle. It's dependable, it's affordable, it's aesthetically-pleasing, it's great on gas, and the dealership offers great service! Despite the fact that it's got about 170,000 miles on it, the engine has given me no problems other than a slight shudder that I have yet to be able to diagnose, and I know I can depend on it to get me where I need to go- even if that's far away! As for what I'd like to change on it, well, there are some minor cosmetic details that worry me- for example; the center console lid broke and no longer closes, the paint is starting to look a bit worn, and the passenger's drop-down mirror/visor came off completely, with the driver's side on... Standing up to poke my head out of the sun roof on the way to the beach, enjoying the sun on my face and the sound of the waves as we made our way along the coast to find the perfect place to park and relax.
Pros
Gas mileage, gas mileage, gas mileage! My car does better than gas on all of my friends cars, and is therefore usually the go-to for whenever we're traveling long distances. $30 Fills up my tank, and I can drive it for three straight hours after that and still have an entire half-tank left. Piggybacking on that, it's also a very dependable car. It's definitely got some miles on it, but the engine has not once given me any sort of trouble other than a slight shuddering that I haven't been able to diagnose yet. It also looks very nice, and is fairly affordable to boot! The pros definitely ou... (more)
Cons
There's not a lot of elbow room in the backseat, though that's to be expected seeing as it's a coupe, and some of the cosmetic details aren't exactly up to snuff when it comes to old age. The latch on the center console broke, so the lid no longer closes, and the passenger-side mirror/visor has come completely off- with the driver's side one looking to do about the same, despite the fact that we rarely ever used them and didn't put too much strain on them when we did. Also, the paint has started to wear down in patches; though I heard if I took it to the dealership, they'd paint over it fo... (more)

I have always loved Honda, and it is due to the Civic I own. It is such a spacious car with tons of room and, best of all, it's been really reliable through about the last ten years we have owned it. I cannot recall a time where we (my husband and I) were left stranded because we ran out of gas or because the car broke down unexpectedly. Even the paint job is great. My car is red, it has not faded and the top clear layer of paint is not coming off. That was a big issue for me with other cars because red is my favorite color! I also really love the style. It seems to have a classic style that will always look great through out the years. Because I like the Honda Civic so much, I helped my husband get the same car too! His is blue and would also agree that it is one of the best cars he h... (more)
Story
My husband and I love to go camping! So it is a really great car to go camping with because it fits all of our camping gear!
Pros
The pros are easy! I believe our first pro is how much space it has! I am starting a big family, so space is very important to us. Because the car has so much leg and truck room, we will not even have to buy a new car like a van or SUV. It is great too with space, but at the same time, it does not feel like you are driving a boat down the street. Second, I love the miles per hour on this Honda Civic! I have never really filled the tank up all the way because it doesn't really need to be fill to the top. I've had my car for a long time so I am now able to tell when I am getting low, or if I... Cons
I would say maybe I would like it better if I had a longer warranty. My air conditioner doesn't work very well anymore and, to me, it is not worth it to try and fix it because my mechanic told me the price to do that, and it is way too high! I am just going to hold out until I can afford to get another Honda. Also, if it came in a much larger variety of colors I would like that too! I hate how all the car company make all the color selection the same. They should be the first to switch it up! I bet they would attract so many more customers if they offered like purple, orange, greens, and m... (more)
