I have been very pleased with my vehicle in terms of its performance and have not had any issues or complaints in the seven years that I have owned it. I bought it used and have been pleased with almost all aspects of the car and am happy that I purchased this particular vehicle. My car has 60,000 plus miles on it and I have not encountered any major problems with it at this point in time.
Story
I have enjoyed driving this car around my are and am pleased with the size since it is way easier for me to park it in parking garages. I always have had difficulty with spatial and I am happy to have a car that is small enough to park easily.
Pros
The most positive aspects of this vehicle are the reliability and gas mileage. I have been very happy with how many miles I have gotten per gallon and do not need to fill my gas tank very often. I have found the car to be quite reliable and a good buy for the amount of money I have spent on it. It served me very well when I was young and wanted a reliable, safe and fuel efficient vehicle. I have been happy with its performance and am pleased with the safety features. I have found it easy to drive an have enjoyed the sun roof and the value I have gotten for my money.
Cons
There are two major cons I have encountered driving this car. This first one is the comfort of the seats. The seats have never been very comfortable and my husband has found it particularly difficult sitting for any length of time in my car. Also, the engine is not very powerful and it can be quite difficult merging into oncoming traffic. It has served me well up to this point but the issues with comfort make it difficult to go on long road trips. My car is several years old, and it has been to many states with very few issues. Aside from general maintenance, it has been a great, if not fancy or beautiful, car to get me from location to location. I bought it used and never expected it to still be around (and fully functional) more than ten years and several thousand miles later.
Story
This car has gotten me through road trips all over the west coast, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Wasatch Mountains, up and down the Las Vegas Strip, and back.
Pros
The gas mileage on the car is fantastic. Even when you drive like a maniac, the lowest I've ever seen it go is 35 MPG. On highways, it gets much better than that, which is great if you travel as much as I do. The AC has never once let me down (knock on wood!), Which is very important when you live in the desert. It is just a very dependable, reliable car, and if you're not looking for flash, then you can't do much better.
Cons
As the years have gone on, the car has developed a minor rattle that happens when the gas pedal is first pressed down. However, I've been assured by multiple mechanics that this is relatively normal for the make and model, and other than not always being the first one off the line, it doesn't affect the performance of the car.
