2001 Honda Accord - Amazing car, very dependable
My 2001 Honda Accord is everything I could want out of a car, especially when I need it to bridge the gap for me between college and the working world. It has been very reliable, not requiring any erroneous repairs that aren't routine maintenance. The leather interior and wood paneling give the car a modern look that has really held up despite it's now 17 years of age. The exterior of the car looks great. I love the design of the 2001 Accord. However, the gold color is not my favorite, but that's absolutely not a deal-breaker. It performs well, has very strong acceleration and makes me feel like I can get around almost anything. One of the smoothest rides I have experienced as well. The gas mileage is also quite satisfactory, getting about 30 MPG-highway. It handles turns quite well an... (more)
Story
I once had a blowout on the way home for Christmas. While it definitely wasn't a fun experience, it was incredibly memorable as it was around 4 AM and is a story that I love to tell. Definitely wasn't an issue with the car, blowouts happen no matter what kind of car you drive.
Pros
The gas mileage is awesome. Sleek leather interior and wood paneling. Smooth ride. Minimal blind spots.
Cons
Sensitive gas peddle. Gold color is not my favorite. CD player that the car came with broke, and I had to get it replaced. However, AUX ports weren't exactly standard when the car was made and I don't use CDs, so getting it replaced was in the works—regardless of it breaking or not.
2000 Honda Accord - Problem free
Prior to buying my Accord I owned a Ford, and it had so many mechanical problems. After 15 years and 90,000 plus miles my Accord has had absolutely zero problems. Yes, I have replaced the tires, and had the factory suggested maintenance done on time, but have never, ever had an unexpected repair. It is hard to describe how anxious I was to turn the key of that piece of junk Ford and hope it started, yet now I do not even consider my Accord will ever fail me.
Story
My wife and I have taken my Accord to the beach well over 100 times, and we (or our friends) often find shells under the seats or under the mats when we clean the car. We take it everywhere and haul anything that fits.
Pros
Reliability is all I ask of a vehicle. Anything more is just nice to have. The stereo has always been great, and since it is a 4 door there is room to haul a few friends around from time to time, and I have always thought is more solid than my friends Chevy's or Fords.
Cons
Since I have had the car for awhile I have moved several times, and it is not big enough to handle hardly any large items, with even a big TV having to go into a rental truck or friends pickup truck. However, I knew how big it was when I bought it, and understood I was not buying a pickup, so this is hardly such a terrible trait.

Raleigh, NC Dealer Ratings & Reviews

2006 Honda Accord - Leith Honda Raleigh
The dealership was great due to the outstanding customer service I received. As soon as I got on the lot I was attended to and was not harassed. The salesman was very informative and did not apply any pressure. I went home to ponder on my decision and I returned a few days later and he was still very helpful. After I purchased the car he called a few times to make sure the car was running smoothly.

The salesman and finance guys are very nice and I don't feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
