2007 Honda Accord - Reliable daily driver
When I got my car, I was ecstatic. The interior for the price was very nice, especially considering it had leather even on the budget trim. I also had a manual transmission in my car, which makes highway drives better, and my mileage is higher than an automatic transmission. The paint is also very nice as well as the interior carpeting and included accessories. Overall, the car has met my needs and then some.
Story
I love getting in my car when it's 110 degrees out in Texas, and because my car is white with a tan interior, it's barely warmer than outside. It saves me a lot of pain and suffering.
Pros
My favorite feature probably has to be the manual transmission. It enables me to enjoy the ride much more than on a comparable automatic sedan. Other than that, it's got a lot of great features for someone with my lifestyle. Plenty of space for friends/stuff, good gas mileage, great handling and acceleration. I also don't have to use premium fuel anymore, which saves me even more over my previous car.
Cons
One of the most negative aspects of this car is the paint. It looks good from afar, but the clear coat is very thin. This leads me to believe it will eventually start to fade/crack in the sun. I also was not a huge fan of the wheel covers that come with the car. They're very basic and the paint comes off very easily, even just in a regular car wash.
2007 Honda Accord - Think Honda Accord!
Recently, I've had been looking for a good reliable car. I was told one of the best cars to invest in were Honda and Toyota because parts and equipment's are not accessible and long-lasting. I came cross my current vehicle (Honda Accord 2007). I was very excited to own this car, because it looked just perfect for appearance. Considering I have a lot of friends into fancy-looking things, I had to get a classy car. Took it for a test drive and guess what? It drove just as fast as you'd think sport cars would. I had specific things I needed my car to have such as cruise control, automatic, stereo control on steering wheel, power lock on car keys, two doors, non-leather, just nice clothing, and loud speakers. Story
Recently, I had to attend a birthday party on Sunday after church. I was running late to the party, therefore I was speeding past the speed limit to the party. I was initially using the cruise control while driving to the location which was in Irving, TX, about 34min from Denton, TX. The speed limit was 65, but I was driving 80 down the highway. Pros
Engine is very smooth, I promise you. I drive two hours back home from school about 113 miles every weekend, and I haven't had any check-engine light for almost two years. Good brakes, roomy interior, and large trunk space.
Cons
I spend more on gas every week; I guess it takes quite a lot of gas. Servicing of the car is quite expensive at the car dealers. No auxiliary cord which is disappointing for such a high tech car.
