1990 Honda Accord - Long Lasting Vehicle
This vehicle is a beast. My wife and I purchased for $1,000 and put over 100K miles on it (it already had 100K on it when we got it). Overall, the gas mileage was great. The car required very little maintenance. We drove it into the ground and got more than our moneys worth.
Story
I was following my wife home from work. She was driving this vehicle when the speedometer decided to stop working. Needless to say, driving through an urban environment with no speedometer was slightly frightening for her. Overall it is a funny/memorable moment.
Pros
Long lasting vehicle. It had a sun/moon roof which was very nice. It is a four door sedan, so it had easy access to the rear seats. Gas mileage was good. My favorite aspect of the vehicle was the sheer longevity. They just don't make cars like this anymore.
Cons
Eventually the moon roof leaked. If it had rained the night before and you came to a sudden stop, you could expect water to run down your back. The body started to rust out, but it already had over 200k miles on it. Ultimately the turn signals and speedometer stopped working. The glove compartment ultimately would not open, either.
2001 Honda Accord - Reliable and strong.
This is one of the best vehicles that we have owned. We have had new vehicles have issues and new vehicles need repairs. With the 2001 Accord, we do the regular maintenance, and it runs like new. Still is reliable for work and travel. We use this car everyday, and it is out performing a 2011 Volvo. The structure of the car is good, and we haven't had to do too many cosmetic repairs.
Story
I drove this car from Michigan to Las Vegas with no issues. I made it all the way to Nevada and drove around that city for a few days then I drove all the way back to Michigan.
Pros
Favorite feature is the fact that all the electronics are good and that it still runs like a new car.
Cons
The only negative is that it looks like a older model. Doesn't look like a brand new car.

2005 Honda Accord - Paradise Motors Lansing
They did not try to push any cars on me, just made suggestions.
They made suggestions not based on the highest price of car and best commission, but what was right for me.
They had good prices.
They also have a service station, so any car you buy can be serviced there.
Very friendly and personable, my salesperson even gave me his cell phone number.
