2012 Honda Accord - Great dad mobile.
The Accord is a fantastic family car, or all-around adventure mobile in style. I loved that as long as my load fit in the car, (didn't require roof mounts for canoes or things like that), I could travel across all the states and Canada getting some of the best bang for my buck at the pump.
Story
The best memories I've had in the Accord are my weekend road trips. All the money I've saved on gas by going with the Accord allows me enough in my budget to venture an hour or two away for the weekend for at least 2 weekends every month.
Pros
My favorite things about this car are the exceptional amount of trunk space and the excellent gas mileage! I took a trip from Madison to Boston and to see the light pop up when I had over 500 miles on the trip odometer, I was ecstatic! The space in the backseats also help when fitting larger pals into the car for a ride.
Cons
The worst things about this vehicle are the lack of pickup or quick acceleration, the rubber around the windows has melted, and the USB functionality is geared more toward Apple products.
2005 Honda Accord - Extremely dependable
Bought the car used with just under 100k miles on it. Since then I've put around 50k miles on it. I've had no major problems with it at all. It's very reliable and gets pretty good gas mileage.
Story
I play Ultimate Frisbee, and it's driven me all over the place to tournaments. I'll be pretty sad when I get a new one because I have a lot of memories of driving to different places with this car.
Pros
Good gas mileage, heats up quickly in cold winters, and cools down in hot summers very well. Have had no major maintenance issues. Take it in every once in a while for normal checkups and whatnot.
Cons
The radio will sometimes turn off randomly, but this probably isn't something that all Honda Accords experience. Doesn't have an aux cord.
