2003 Honda Accord - Honda keeps on kickin'
This is a super reliable car as everyone already knows. The EX version has some nice updates in the cabin that keep it from feeling too basic. There is plenty of room to drive a family of four, unless your driver is over six feet tall.
Story
Once, a tree dropped on my car while it was parked at work. Everyone thought it was destroyed, but the body shop managed to fix it. Even though the tree fell on the sunroof, it was repaired and has never leaked. I love having a sunroof and am so happy it has never been a weak point in the car.
Pros
I like that this car never breaks down and runs forever. As long as you do the required maintenance, a Honda should go for a very long time. I like how quiet the interior of the car is when driving and the six-CD player.
Cons
I have had to replace the radio twice now for issues with the CD player and a known issue with the lighting on the radio. I also have a squeaky belt, which seems to be a common issues with Hondas. I wish the back seat did a 60/40 split when laid down for more trunk space.
2007 Honda Accord - Love it.
Having only owned Hondas in the past, I love this model. I purchased it with approximately 97k miles on it over two years ago and I just passed 145k this month. Besides regular maintenance, the vehicle has needed nothing. I love the look of the car as well as the reliability.
Story
Last summer, my husband and I took a road trip in our Accord. Although it was a little cramped we had a blast taking the back roads through the northwestern hills of Wisconsin. It handled great on the sharp turns and still got great gas mileage.
Pros
I love the dash display and the look of the vehicle. The stereo system is great for a stock vehicle and the seat heaters are the best in the winter! My accord is great on gas mileage. I get approximately 28 mpg and it costs me around $30 to fill the tank.
Cons
The Accord Coupe is not the best if you wish to have passengers or car seats. The backseat is quite small. Also, although I prefer the dark grey leather seats, they can become quite hot in the summer sun! Lastly, the vehicle is not the fastest on the road. Although it is quick for a 4-cylinder, it definitely isn't a racecar!
