While my vehicle is approaching its 16th birthday, it is still a trustworthy vehicle. I purchased the car from its first owner 7 years ago and have not ever regretted it. I love that the car runs as well as the day I bought it. The gas mileage is good, it requires little maintenance, has solid power and speed, and handles like a current sports car. It is a good acceleration and functions well on the street as well as the freeway.
Story
My favorite times with this vehicle are when I used to take some friends out for drives without any particular destination. Cruising around town is always fun, especially around the beach area.
Pros
There are many positive things about this vehicle. First and foremost, it is reliable. I can depend on it performing at a high level each time I ride it. Despite its age, it only requires little maintenance, just an occasional oil change. It can keep up with new sports cars yet has solid gas mileage, particularly on the freeway. Because its a coupe, I enjoy driving it around town and feeling like I can get around easily. I especially like the moon roof, where it almost feels like a convertible. The interior of the car is also nice, with leather seats and wood trim. It still looks like a fa... (more)
Cons
The major downside of this vehicle is the paint job. The red coating has started to peel off dramatically on the roof and trunk. This, however, is expected due to the harsh California weather, constant exposure to the sun, and its overall age. Minor negative things include some electronics giving out, such as the windows unable to function and the air conditioning occasionally not working, but again, this has more to do with the age of the car rather than the build quality.

The car is over 15 years old, with 178000 miles on it thus far, but continues to perform with minimal repairs. Parts rarely fail, and maintenance is less than one would expect from such a car. The car has surprising amounts of power below the hood, and can often accelerate quite quickly, for a vehicle not designed for high performance.
Story
I once had the vehicle repainted and touched up, to look as good as new. I parked unknowingly near a car show, and walked away to get something to eat. When I returned, I saw people admiring the car, thinking it was one of the highly priced cars being shown off! I got a good laugh pretending it was something other than a mid priced sedan until an actual expert showed up.
Pros
The gas mileage, around 25 miles to the gallon on highways, is good. It saves me money and protects the environment. The seats are comfortable. It's a small vehicle, so it's easy to maneuver, but still easily fits 5 people in it, with a well sized trunk. Little is wasted, and the car is very efficient, with space, gas mileage, and repair requirements.
Cons
The radio lacks an aux port, which is irritating, as I have to convert all my music to CD form to have it in the car. The lack of a back window wiper is frustrating in the winter. The lack of multiple power outlets is difficult to manage with multiple people in the car, as we can only charge one phone at a time. The car's headlights are not bright enough at times.
