2010 Honda Accord Hybrid - Great car for the money invested
It's been five years since I bought the car and it has not needed a single trip to the shop except for oil changes and tire rotation/alignments. Acceleration is sufficient to merge and pass on the highway. Won't win any drag races, but at this stage of life I am more concerned with fitting two baby seats across the back seat, which is no problem with this car. A decent car for the family.
Story
After taking the vehicle on a long drive from San Jose to New York - always a memorable journey - without any problems in vehicle. Enjoying all the nature and nice drive with my girl.
Pros
Roomy and high-quality interior; refined and efficient power trains; quick acceleration; responsive handling; generous standard features; available coupe body style.
Cons
Many desirable features available only in upper trim levels; non-split-folding rear seat; finicky dual-screen infotainment system.
2010 Honda Accord Hybrid - sporty, safe and reliable
I love the look of the newer Accords. It's sleek and sporty and the Belize Blue Pearl paint is amazing. The color seems to change in certain light settings. I also like how low the car is to the ground, and with good tires can grip curves seamlessly. Although it is a coupe, the car is huge and has tons of leg room in both the back and front seats. The trunk also has space that goes on forever.
Story
I just remember going to visit some friends at a local university and they were all just amazed by the car. Girls loved it and couldn't wait to get a ride in it.
Pros
On long trips, the gas mileage is great, getting nearly 600+ miles to a full tank. I also love how the car lets you feel like you're in control on the road at all times.
This car is very reliable, as it has only been in the shop for minor regular maintenance.
Higher speed accelerating is great as the car just seems to keep pulling.
Cons
One thing I do not like about this car is initial take off from standing still. It lags a little in that department.
Also, since my vehicle is manual, I've noticed quite a bit of lag between shifts.
Compared to other models of its kind it also does have quite a few blind spots but overall that has not given me too many problems.
