2015 GMC Terrain -
I love this vehicle! It is the perfect size for a small family that travels a lot! It looks sleek, it gets me from place to place (reliable), and it was affordable! The cargo area is a bit small , but we make it work! It also gets good gas mileage for an SUV. It seems to average about 25 mph.
Story
I was able to set up a trunk or treat using the back of the car! It turned out great and for this event. It was just the perfect amount of room back there!
Pros
I like that the terrain has a back seat that can move forward and backward, giving just a little bit more space when needed. The back-up camera and large screen is nice also. I had not had that in previous vehicles. I also love the boxy look!
Cons
My biggest complaint is that there are no air vents in the back. My child gets very warm back there in the summer time. If I was looking for another vehicle, the vents in the back would be a top priority. Also, if you lay your cell phone in the passenger seat, it can mess with the airbag sensors. I'm not sure that is specific to the Terrain only, but it is something to be aware of!
2015 GMC Terrain - Excellent small SUV with great gas mileage.
Excellent vehicle inside and out. The trim is beautiful with the black leather and overall comforts, but what truly is impressive to me is the gas mileage. The terrain is a small SUV, with the sport-like needs met, yet it easily gets 32-33 miles to the gallon on the highway, and I consistently get 26 in town. That's impressive! Further, on the road it is quiet, smooth, and well-designed for easy control. Incredibly easy to drive for the size but with the feel of a sedan.
Story
I have had a blast using this car's great five passenger space (even for tall people) to carpool adults and teens to events around town. It's been fun to blast the music, grab some frozen custard from Freddie's and head on the highway to events in Topeka and downtown Kansas City.
Pros
Honestly, the top positive aspects of this car are too numerous to list easily. But, if I were to identify my favorites, it would be the excellent gas mileage, ease of driving, SUV feel for camping and other trips, and excellent design for those of quite tall!
Cons
The only negative I have on this car is the price -- but I will be honest, it was well worth it.
