2015 GMC Terrain - Great family SUV.
We purchased this SUV almost a year ago, and it had 17,000 miles on it. Right now it sits at 37,000 miles, and performance is great. It runs smoothly and is a pretty quiet SUV. The backseats are spacious enough to fit two car seats for our kids. The car seats are pretty bulky, and we still have plenty of space on the trunk for groceries and to fit luggage and even our golden retriever when we take trips. The navigation screen is functional, and we are able to use Sirius XM easily on it. It gives great gas mileage around 26 miles per gallon. Keeping up with constant oil changes and routine maintenance, we have no mechanical problems, and we love the design and color (light blue) of our SUV.
Story
We took our kids and our sixty-pound golden retriever from California to Texas in a road trip, and the SUV fixed everything we needed. Our dog was comfortable in the back, and the kids did great during the trip. We had zero mechanical problems, and the navigation screen, with our Sirius XM subscription, was really helpful to keep up with good music and details on the weather of the cities we w... (more)
Pros
Spacious seats and trunk. We like to have cloth seats instead of leather. We like that the seats are heated for those cold days, and the great gas millage we get. The SUV is pretty quiet while driving and is a great family car to fit everything, especially having two young kids.
Cons
The only thing we don't like is the fact that the SUV seems to struggle a little when overcoming hills. The revolutions go from two to four or five, and the SUV loses speed significantly when going up a hill.
2015 GMC Terrain - Great gas-saving SUV.
I love my GMC Terrain because it's reliable, gas saving and a very comfortable SUV to drive around. The design is sleek and very compact, which is one of the best features. The only thing I really dislike is that it lacks horsepower, and the handling is a little loose at times.
Story
The last memorable story I have regarding my SUV was when I took my dad and uncle on a fishing trip up north last year. We literally loaded up my trunk area and backseat with all of our equipment for camping and fishing to the brim, though still had enough space to fit my uncle in the back. Pros
The sound system is great; they put a seriously good audio setup. The red lighting makes night driving much comfortable and innovative. The interior space is comfy, and it's great for lugging a lot of groceries or items.
Cons
The dashboard needs to be better designed. It's not very sleek and lacks a lot of storage bays for items. The handing needs some tweaking, as it loosens up when I drive fast. And, finally, the engine could use some more power while maintaining good fuel mileage.
