I bought my 2005 GMC Sierra Pick Up Truck Nine Years Ago. After 4 years without a car payment, I'm very glad I did. In 2005, the Sierra had a very modern and slick look for a pick up truck, while maintaining an aggressive stance and posture. The inside was very comfortable, with room for 6 and plenty of room for passengers in the back. The middle armrest in the front folds up to provide that classic pick up truck front bench. It's large V8 is quiet, but provide plenty of power for towing and hauling. To get in, it is a step up, but as long as you are not wearing a dress, it's not a problem. Plus the high ride height gives you a good view of the road. The large V8 is a thirsty engine, and averages 15.3 miles per gallon. An easy to use LED display sits in the dash, with easy to use butt... (more)
Story
I have used my truck for a lot of things. A couple of years ago a few of my staff got stuck in the mud after they took a wrong turn. I had no problem pulling them out. They had a harder time cleaning the mud off my truck. I've also used the truck to pull out countless stumps from my back yard, and pull a shed over. It's a time saver!
Pros
The Pros include: -Large Bed -Hauling capacity -Roomy cabin -Low maintenance -Room for 6 -Vehicle Stance
Cons
The Cons include: -Turning radius - It can be hard to maneuver in tight spaces -Fuel Economy -Paint - Rust on the quarter panels

I've owned this car for over ten years and I have had next to no problems with it, aside from keeping up with typical maintenance. The suspension, steering, engine and transmission are all original and work as well as the day I bought the truck. The odometer just turned over 271,000 miles, and a good share of those were in a city setting with a lot of stop and go driving. I've been impressed with the durability that it has exhibited and the overall build quality. Gas mileage isn't the greatest, but it rarely is with V-8 four wheel drive trucks. What matters most is the truck can go anywhere and haul most anything I need it to in the process.
Story
I towed a car to my cousin in Seattle, Washington from Cincinnati Ohio in the truck and turned it into a two week road trip.
Pros
Payload, power, torque, handling (relatively good for a truck), accessories all still work, Easy to take long trips in.
Cons
Fuel mileage, interior feels cheap and overwhelmingly plastic, in cabin noise is a bit high compared to other trucks of this age and trim level.
