2008 GMC Envoy - I love it

I love the fact it has a lot of cargo room. It has four-wheel drive on the fly. It has heated seats...that's a must for winters in my area. The SUV is solid. It has leather interior with loads of options. It has a sun roof. It is able to tow all my summer and winter toys with no issues. It has lots of power for all the hills in my area.

Story

I was able to pack it with all the family's luggage while going on vacation to the shore, and it did not infringe on the space for passengers.

Pros

I like the fact that the electric seats have options to save the settings for two different drivers. It makes it easier to share driving.

Cons

It could get better gas mileage. The 15 MPG could be a little better.

2007 GMC Envoy - Great SUV

This is a great vehicle to drive overall. I like the aesthetic appeal of the exterior, and the interior is roomy and comfortable. It does have several blind spots, however, and it seems as if a few design improvements could have prevented a couple of them. The center console could also have been designed better. When you lean on it, it is kind of squeaky, and the cheap plastic top cracked very easily. I have seen several others with the same insure. The 4.2L Inline 6 is a bit sluggish in the low RPM range, but it does pick up once you get over 3000 RPM. I have towed a 5000 lb. trailer with it, and it had enough power.

Pros

Aesthetic, roomy interior, comfortable

Cons

the wheelbase is a bit short for towing and there is quite a bit of sway on the trailer even when leveled properly. The stock radio seems to have pretty poor reception compared to other radios I've had, especially on the AM frequencies. Also, the door seals seem to leak some air making for a louder than average driving experience.
